VHT SP700 High Performance Caliper Cleaner - 11 oz, Single

I saw a review saying it's no different from brake cleaner. I am a master mechanic and I can tell you it is much better than brake cleaner. Brake cleaner does level behind a VERRY small amount of residue that can hinder the paint from sticking well. I'm not sure what all is in this but it smells like pure acetone and I know painters and welders use acetone to prep surfaces because it cleans everything and leaves no residue. That being said it is pricy for just spray acetone

Painted some brake drums with this then followed it up with their clear coat. They look beautiful, as far as durability goes, I can’t say anything about that yet, won’t be driving the car till spring time, but from what I have read I have high expectations.

Love VHT paint and this is no exception. Painted calibers. Goes on smooth and even. Dried nicely. Let it fully cure 7 days and carried on. No issues to date.

so disappointed when I sprayed it on my calipers expecting something thick to come out and clear everything like magic (yeah I know) and what came out was brake cleaner, smell and consistency is brake cleaner not "caliper cleaner" sure it cleans but is not really as strong to clean really dirty calipers, not even easier than if you only use the wire brush. so get normal brake cleaner I suppose.
