I like has everything you need to get started or see if you like it and lots of little extras. Those needles are sharp! Lol. Lots of fun though. My 10 year old loves it too. We are very artsy/ crafty people. And she goes very slow, don’t worry peoples😉 I wish it had a three prong needle tool though I can see that being something we order in near future and also more wool. 3 g is not a lot as you can tell by pictures but great for having colors for details and to start with but would definitely buy more wool if you are wanting to do this more or make a bigger project. We ve only made little things so far. Also the block you stab on, it’s good but will wear out sooner than I was hoping it would. But over all great product.

Has everything you need to start learning!
I purchased this kit as a Christmas present to myself so that I could learn how to needle felt. Attached are the photos from my first three projects! I built a white base shape using the tools from this kit and then used the colors from it to get the look I wanted. I think this kit is a great value! I love that this kit comes with more color choices than most others! The only downsides are that the box doesn’t fit together very well, I can still close it but it has some gaps. And the other is that there is only a small amount of each color. But it is still lovely for beginners! I would definitely recommend this product in the future!

Everything you need, besides more wool.
This kit has everything you need, it has a surplus of needles, probably enough to last you for years. I like the single needle holder, and I'm sure the multi needle holder will be useful when I have more wool. I don't think the stencils will be too useful, but it's nice to have them. If you want to make big projects, you'll need to buy more wool, but the sample colors will last you a good while for making smaller projects.
