I bought these to trim bouquets at home. They won't cut anything with a grassy stem (like tulips or daffodils), just fraying and chomping on the stem instead. Did a bit better job on wood-like branches and roses, but still - no clean cut and lots of fraying. Really annoying and barely usable. Returned.

This clipper is easy for me to grip and is lighter in weight. It has a sharp, clean cut on it. Only problem I had was the spring mechanism came loose and I had to manually open the clippers to cut anything. I had completed the warranty information on them as soon as I received them and was sent an email address to contact them directly if there was ever any problems. The customer service department is exceptional. I sent them an email regarding the problem. Within 24 hours they had contacted me and a new pair was shipped. I received the new pair within a few days. This is a good set of clippers for the price and you can't get better customer service.

I used this brand before and it was a good experience but this lock is weak somehow. It looks the same as lock on the Anvil pruning shears (green ones) but it is not quite as effective. They could be a bit sharper, btw.

I purchased 2 of these sometime ago and was more then pleased with them. They are still working like new and I do a lot of pruning. I purchased this pair in red so I can see them in the grass!

Love the locking mechanism at the top. Doesn't get in the way while working

Easy to use. Not the sharpest pruner I've used, but adequate. Great price. A little large for my size 6 hand.
