Not bad to start off with, obviously you get what you pay

During the lockdown, I found myself doing more zoom calls, insta stories and tik tok videos indoor and being winter time, the light was very poor at home. The TONOR 12 inch Selfie Ring Light is pretty versatile as it comes with a tripod as well as a smartphone holder. I have used it as a standalone light source for photos, supporting zoom calls as well as doing my videos for my social channels. The light features three color modes (cold, warm, natural) along with 10 brightness levels which are easily adjustable by pressing a button or using a Bluetooth remote. The tripod can be placed on the table top or the floor as it extends up to 52". The mobile clamp which is able to rotate hence allowing you to take both landscape and portrait videos. I had to purchase the BOYA BY-M1 Clip-On Microphone to help get a crisp audio.  Definitely a great set-up for creating social media content at home.

The media could not be loaded.  10/10!I had 3 different ring lights in the past year, I used them for my TikTok videos and occasional Zoom meetings. One was too small, one was made out of cheap plastic that broke the first time it fell and with the third one phone holder was constantly falling out of the place! This ring light is everything you will ever need!The ring itself is made out of sturdy plastic so if it does fall down I don't think it will break, it has 3 different light settings and brightness option.In the past the stand bit I had was a stick with tripod legs on the bottom (reason it would fall) but Tonor stand is like a professional tripod, it can be small (see photo - it fits on my windowsil) or can be extended to full length, I'm 5'6 and it fits my height perfectly!It's easy to turn it to the right angle too! (which I struggled with my previous tripods).And amazing feature - it comes with a remote control so you can record video without timer! Take your place and when you're ready you press record on the remote control and you're ready to go.Oh and it comes with a bag for the tripod (none of my previous lights had a bag).Overall I 100% recommend! What a value for the price!

The ring light came in an impressive packaging.First of all the tripod although looking thin is remarkably steady and has 3 extension levels so can be positioned on table but also from the floor.The lights are great and the different warmth settings allow to chose the right light for your pictures (not sure I will use the cold white ever).Smartphone attachment: this is where in my view some improvements can be made as the way it is attached and especially the length of the bendable part is too short which means that ir does not really allow easy adjustment so that the phone is on the exact same plane as the ring itself (it is always more in front of the ring).Overall a good product at the price

I am happy with this product, it’s easy to use and set up, the adjustable stand is great if you want to set the light in a certain position. The only issue I have with it is that it’s not camera friendly, what I mean is that in practice you should be able to attach the camera to the stick. Yeah, but not really, it doesn’t have the necessary “prefix” required to connect the stand and the camera ( like the one that actually comes with the light, intended for phones). I am forced to buy the part separately if I want to use my camera with this product... (which should be included in the original package, for this price)Otherwise, it’s a very good product!

Bought this for my wife to make online videos - it's a massive improvement over a standard lamp and mini tripod. The light itself makes a big difference to skin tone recorded on the videos and the tripod is excellent - you can quite happily have the tripod on the floor and the ring light and phone at eye level while sitting - no need to balance on a table or window ledge!The tripod is made of aluminum and plastic and came very well packaged.The only negative is that you don't seem to be able to attach a DSLR like shown in the photo in the product video - maybe I'm missing a piece?Overall excellent value in this price range.
