Perioperative Two-Dimensional Transesophageal Echocardiography: A Practical Handbook Spiral-bound – January 1, 2011

I bought this book on the recommendation of one of the other cardiac anesthesiologists. I do hearts, but I usually call in the cardiologist to review the echo. This book does an excellent job of showing how to do an exam. I've been very impressed with it. The only thing I don't like is the paper is not very heavy and gets dog eared in my bag or pocket. But the material covered in the handbook is fantastic, and it does fit in pockets well.

short, easy to read and well summarized, nice and colorful pictures, portable. Perfect and Highly recommended for beginner in TEE.

The author found a way to jam as much info into a short and easily readable text that fits in your pocket. Pictures are small and hard to read but overall it is an excellent addition to any echocardiographers library. I use it in the OR all the time..

An awesome little guide that will fit into your pocket. The information in this great little guide is very dense and thorough. I really recommend this guide to carry around with you especially if you are preparing the the advanced proficiency exam in cardiac echocardiography.

Brilliant, focussed text for a busy clinician, but the Kindle adaptation is clunky and under-developed. It needs chapters and an index at the very least, and a bit of format-optimisation would be good too.

This is easy to use for the novice cardiac anesthesiologists who needs an intraoperative cheat sheet.

Very comprehensive!

Sehr schönes Buch mit anschaulichen Abbildungen, guten Beschreibungen und allen aktuellen Methoden. In Englisch nicht immer einfach, aber wer gute Literatur zu diesem Thema sucht landet immer in der angloamerikanischen Literatur. Leider bieten deutsche Lehrbücher keinen Vergleich, was Preis/Leistung und Aktualität angeht. Derzeit das beste hands-on Lehrbuch für TEE was es zur Zeit gibt.
