It seems like a nice toy for the price. As you can see in the other reviews and on YouTube. No one seems to talk about the programming option. The reason is because the instructions are so bad that it is impossible to figuer it out. People seem to settle for the basic features and say to themselves, well it's good enough for the price I paid. Okay, go ahead than and buy it. I for one, will return this and look for a robot that comes with clear instructions on how to use all the features. My seven year old son is counting on me not to be as lazy and uncaring as this manufacturer. It seems to me that they used google translate to come up with the English instructions. The entire manual doesn't address what the "MEMO" button is for, I can go on but I think you get the point. Its frustrating.

My young nephew is definitely loving this interactive robot. The robot can fully entertain him by singing, dancing, and talking. It can also move accordingly by using different gestures. There is also a remote control that has similar functions in case the kid does not want to sit and play. It did catch my nephew’s eyes the moment I turned it on and now he deems it as his lovely new friend, which he named Captain Robo. To conclude, it is a pleasant purchase as well as a perfect gift for kids. I would surely consider buying it again for friends’ kids and would highly recommend it.

I bought this for my son’s birthday & found out the night before that it didn’t work. At all. I tried it on two different thicknesses of carpet, hardwood, and texture pained cement. It didn’t matter if I used the remote or my hand. It didn’t matter if I commanded it to go forward or backward, the robot just fell over as soon as it moved. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

I love the interaction. My grandson loves the singing and moving of the robot. I like the automatic features of the robot that allow it to play and move around without knowing how to use the remote control.

My son loves this little robot and it does just enough with the motion of his hand and the remote control so that he doesn't get too bored too quickly. For under $20 it couldn't be a better toy.
