Love this toner!
Holy cow this stuff is amazing. I don’t usually leave reviews, in fact, this is my first Amazon review but I love this product so much that I have to recommend it. So, pandemic + masks + heat = DISASTER. I work in a warehouse and in this heat i get pretty sweaty plus having to wear a mask makes the perfect recipe for a breakout. I was changing my disposable mask out sometimes twice a day, washing my face with different cleansers and nothing cleared up my face. I started using this on Sunday night and by Wednesday, Omgosh, my face was clear. Here we are Friday and my skin never looked better. My boyfriend even complimented me last night on how nice my skin looks. I highly recommend this product. The only thing that would make this product perfect is if it reduced the size of your pores. That would make this the best product out there. But still, my acne is gone and my skin feels and looks so much better. I love this product. This is a great alternative to benzoyl peroxide, which I’m allergic to. Has a mild, pleasant, clean scent which I love cuz I am also sensitive to perfumes. I apply the product, wait until it dries and then apply moisturizer. I love this toner. It’s so worth the money.

HIGHLY recommend!
Like other reviewers I’ve seen on here, I also used this product to replace the Paula’s Choice BHA because I did not like the greasy film it left and I feel it made me breakout. I have always had bad acne/sensitive skin and have recently began struggling with fungal acne, so I’m pretty limited in the types of products I can use without irritation. My skin was the worst it had been in years and the next morning after using this product for the first time my breakouts were less red/painful and already decreasing in size. My blackheads are getting to be less noticeable and some stubborn closed comedones are going away! I could not recommend this product more!

My skin loves these
I am in my late 40's with extremely dry, sensitive skin made more so by my employment as a swim instructor and coach.I love bha and sa, but unfortunately my skin doesn't. I know at my age, it is important and I have tried many expensive products that are supposed to be good for my skin only to find it is red, peeling, or breaking out. Luckily I have 5 daughters who do not have sensitive skin and happily take my discards, so I try products often. To my surprise, my skin loves these pads! These are packaged in a white plastic jar which protects from light damage. The jar was sealed so you would know if it had been tampered with. The toner pads are typical weight, with one side scratchier than the other. The pads were wet enough with a toner that had a water type consistency. There is a scent but I had a hard time putting my finger on it . . . it isn't chemically or astringent, but it also doesn't have a heavy floral or fruit smell. It smells like there is no fragrance added and is listed as fragrance free so I would say that it is no added fragrance. One disk was enough to do my entire face and neck. To my surprise, my skin didn't feel tight or dry, but it did feel clean. There was not a heavy moisturized feeling, but it certainly wasn't drying either. The next morning I had no redness or breakouts. There is a little roughness on my cheeks, but that could be due to working in a humid environment and then walking out into the winter air. I am going to continue using this once or twice a week as it is the best aha I have found that my skin will tolerate.

Simple, No-Frills (Fragrance-Free, Alcohol-Free); Suitable For All Skin Types
If you have sensitive skin (or any skin type) and suffer from mild acne or congestion, I would highly recommend trying the Humane Clarifying Toner Pads. They aren't like the old school Stridex-like pads loaded with alcohol and other potentially irritating fillers. No fragrance (trace medicinal scent). No alcohol. Thus far, they've not caused any overdrying, rashes, sensitivity, or adverse reactions. I have mature (over 40), sensitive, fair, acne & congestion-prone, combination skin for user reference. The Humane Toner Pads have soothing green tea extract and 2% of the BHA known as salicylic acid. It is oil soluble, which means it can penetrate deep into pores and dissolve the buildup of dead skin, sebum, and the like. This action, coupled with SA's anti-inflammatory properties, helps to clear and heal pimple-prone areas. When to use: These pads can be used day and night, though you should always follow up with SPF in the AM as SA and other exfoliating actives makes the skin more sensitive to UV-exposure. Everyone should wear sunscreen, rain or shine, year-round, irrespective of gender, age, skin type, or tone. Find one you like and slather it on daily (face, neck, ears, lips - it is all skin). Also, don't rely solely on the SPF in your makeup. The amount necessary for protection far exceeds the makeup application you would use.Anyway, you wash your face. You can tone with a separate toner first. I like using non-medicated toners with HA and panthenol (provitamin B5). Then gentle swipe one of these Humane Toner Pads across your face, especially over top of the congestion-prone areas. No need to rinse. Follow up with compatible serums (like hyaluronic acid or niacinamide boosters) if you like to use them. Moisturize. Even those with oily or acne-prone skin should use a moisturizer. Again, find one you like, and use it regularly. For one, it can help enhance the use of hyaluronic acid in your skincare, as HA draws moisture into the skin from the surface. If it is left dry and dehydrated, it will be counterproductive. And using a moisturizer can help balance out extra oil production. Moisturizer is not making you more oily. Genetics aside, drying out your skin and regularly stripping your face's lipid moisture barrier is (promoting oil production). Increased sebum production is the skin's reaction to protect itself.A caveat to coupling SA with other actives in your skincare routine: Do your research to see what actives can be used in the same routine. Certain BHA's and AHA's or antioxidants don't play well together. Example: SA + Vitamin C (washes, serums, toners). One or both can alter the other's pH, rendering them inert or increase the risk for irritation and over-exfoliation. Also, it isn't necessary to layer on multiple products with the same actives. For example: if you use a medicated wash with 2% SA, you don't necessarily need to use a topical with 2% SA. When you have sensitive, acne-prone skin, less is more. Just do your research and see which actives you have in your skincare play well together and which ones don't, and alter your routine to keep them in suitable and separate AM and PM routines. The Humane Clarifying Toner Pads. I will keep these on hand. I think they have a great, no-frills, gentle but effective formula suitable for all skin types and ages (teenagers and adults who suffer from mild to moderate acne and congestion). They are inexpensive. You get 60-soft-textured medicated pads.Simple packaging/pads: Safety-sealed, white plastic screw-lid plastic jar. The pads themselves are small, plushy, soft, lightly textured little cotton-ish disks saturated in a medicated (clear) liquid. Little is not an exaggeration. The biggest complaint I've seen from people is the size of each pad. Honestly, it doesn't need to be that big to swipe over your face. There is plenty of liquid on the provided pad to give the user acne-treatment benefits. Be sure to keep the lid securely screwed on to keep the pads from drying out between uses.Affordable: ~$20 (at the time of purchase), which makes these pretty inexpensive, especially for 60-ct of pads. Depending on use, you would have 30 or 60 days of use.Made in the USA.I hope this review was helpful.

They’re ok.
I’m not blown away by these to be honest. It’s hard to tell if they’re doing anything or not but maybe that’s true or all toners
