HIKARI 2022 HyperStar 9012/HIR2 20000LM Wireless LED Bulbs, Dual Beam, 32W Acme-X Fog Light LED Equivalent to 150W Ordinary LED, Wider Driving Vision, Halogen Upgrade Replacement, 6000K White IP68

WOW! Projector headlights went from great to AMAZING, with HyperStar Acme-X 9012 bulbs in my 2013 Fiat 500e. All 3 model years of 500e that I've worked on had headlights angled very low, so I had already fixed that years ago with a few turns of a hex key (or even a flat screwdriver, since it's very low torque), see pic.The Hikaris give ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC illumination of the road, shoulders, lines, reflectors, etc, & an even better cutoff line than stock.My pics don't even come anywhere close to doing them any justice at all.A big surprise was illumination of items well above the cutoff line, like bike reflectors & streetsigns. I had to scrutinize my pic of old vs. new patterns on the garage door. You might be able to see the difference in the amount of light in the upper red rectangles I added to the one pic.Lower rectangles show the part that hits the road, as far as I can estimate. The gap in the middle is only from being so close. There's no gap where they actually hit the road.The little darker spots actually hit the road so close to the car that they don't even matter. The stock clear foglights totally fill them in anyway.The large pattern is highbeams, which I can rarely use due to traffic.No further adjustment needed (besides what was already needed for the OEM bulbs), no errors, & no flickering, even without the $30 add-on external decoder. Fans are barely audible even with the hood open.INSTALLATION TIPS:1) Twist out the dust cap & the old bulb, both counterclockwise as viewed from the driver's seat.2) Twist the ring (shown in my hand) so the long tab is straight down when the bulb plug is straight up like my pic (it hits the housing if the plug is straight down as instructed).3) Insert & twist clockwise to lock the ring, plug it in, twist the plug back to straight up & replace the dust cap.Alignment isn't critical: I twisted mine a bit left & right & it just moved the little darker spot side to side a bit. So it's super-easy on the driver's side, but the right side requires removing the black bracket shown just above my finger in the pic. Gas 500s may not have that. 10mm socket for all 3 bolts: Reservoir, Base, & A/C tube at my fingertip. Then 1,2,3 as above.

Anyone who owns a 2nd generation Chrysler 300 knows the issue with the poor headlights. After installing these 9012/HIR2 bulbs, I can confirm the following:1. They fit perfectly into the headlight housing and the dust cover will re-install without hitting the fan.2. There is no flickering.3. The Left side bulb (Driver's Side) will need to be rotated once installed into the housing so that the LEDs are in the 9 & 3 O'clock position. (The bulb will turn very easily).4. I have had nobody flashing their lights at me as if these were too bright to oncoming traffic.5. These are AMAZING! I can actually see the road AND the high beams make a difference as opposed the stock Halogen bulbs.

Easy to install, great brightness for a good price.

This is my second set of these purchased from Amazon. First set - purchased a week or two earlier - no issues and installed easily on my 2012 FIAT 500. Second set arrived with seal cut on box and labels removed from both headlamps. Today I installed them anyway on my 2014 FIAT 500e and they work so far. Passenger side was very difficult to install, but this was anticipated based on 500e forum discussions. Not at all pleased that they were previously used by another customer.Too early to review the performance of these LED bulbs on either car, but info I have read elsewhere is encouraging.

So just bought these 9012 Hikari ACME-X Bulbs because they seemed like they would be much brighter than my current headlights, and one side of my old LED lights went out. Install was super easy and didn't require a resistor so that's a plus. But they are actually much dimmer than my old lights and being a delivery driver, I need bright lights at night. So will be looking to replace these with a better option, just bummed I spent almost $100 on subpar lights. :-(

I had an older version of the hikari led bulbs and the lasted me 3 years before one kicked the bucket. Being out of warranty, I ordered these newer versions. There's is definitely a brighter difference as I installed a new one on the burnt out side to compare with the old.These bulbs are certainly worth the money and look just as bright and high end as the new Lexus/Mercedes/etc headlights on the road now. I have projector lens on my car and these have the ability to be adjusted to get your lines just right. Excellent bulbs.

verry happy with these lights. did a lot of research before purchasing, so many great reviews on all lights. but i feel most of them are from instant gratification of the new bulb, then most of the bad reviews i feel are based on people who did not know how to install correctly for their setup, example being to rotate the bulb so that the beam shines correctly. it took me literally less than 5 min. to install both lights in my 15 sierra denali, because i have a cold air intake so there was not box to remove for my air filter. these lights are literally night and day difference as far as color, sight distance, and brightness. there are no black spots and the whole road/ditches are made to be in clear sight. i have only had them for a bout a month and so far no issues. plug and play fit. if i have issues in the future i am sure i will come back on here to update my review.

Great bright lights, however one burnt out after a few months use.. Now randomly comes on and off. So now to I need to decide if I buy a new set and hope I get at least one more good one, or try something new..

Pros:- Installed the 9012 version of Hikari ACME-X LED headlight into Chrysler 300 projector based housing. The installation was straightforward and it doesn't seem like a canbus resistor is necessary. There is enough clearance on the dust/moisture cover to fit the light bulb.- Cutoff of the beam matches OEM halogen headlight- After-sale support seems to be greatCons:- The item is ACME-X, but manual seems to be for "HIKARI Eye of Megatron LED bulbs" (23W * 2). See uploaded picture. However, the product code (HIKARI-V55-9012) on the sticker on the side of the box seems to match Amazon listing.- Not as bright as other cars with built-in LED headlights (i.e. Toyota corolla), but still a significant upgrade to existing OEM Halogen.

Installed on 2017 Rav4. Light output is way brighter than stock halogen but noticed some flickering.

Installed on Hyundai Tucson 2015.Really bright and works well.Note: you can hear a noise when turning on highbeams.

Good fit, no flicker, after a few months still working great.Would definitely buy another set.
