For a non toxic way to kill flies it works really well. Dot get to close to a painted cabinet though.. it can and will take paint off of fired yo. Lose

I have never missed with this Bug-a-salt. Hunting is fun, clearing em out is easy. Totally worth every penny!!

Love being able to take out flies from feet away!

I bought the clear gun thinking it would be fun. It ended up looking a little creepy IMO. If I had it to do again, I would go dark.This just drops the flies. I popped for the laser site and it makes it easy to obtain superiority in your air space. The only reason I gave it four stars is that it doesn't really finish off the big flies, but removes their ability to fly. You need to execute them yourself, which is a little disappointing since they suffer a little. If you hate flies and want them to suffer, perhaps this makes it a 6 star item?

I live in Texas which is the spider and bug kingdom of the US. This is my third purchase of Bug-A-Salt. If you use the salt gun frequently, it does wear out. I have no negative comments about the gun because it works as advertised. In the bug and wasp world, it is deadly and clean. It's a one on one type of gun, so don't go taking on wasp or hornets nests. You will loose badly. This is especially nice because it kills the critters and does not leave a stain on walls or doors. It's lots of fun to use and an easy way to get rid of pesky flies around the home. I would appreciate a price reduction, but I imagine their popularity has resulted in a higher prices for each subsequent purchase. I am awaiting the nuclear powered model. Highly recommend. Not for young kids or sadistic teens.

As others have mentioned on here,the pump action IS a bit stiff.. and that does exactly nothing to get in the way of my ability to smoothly roll into racking up my next shot after I pull the trigger.. they ain't kidding about the hair trigger and that's just fine with me to .I love getting into the trance of shooting,racking,shooting, racking.. and just keep going til the hopper is empty. No way that is 80 shots before I need to reload,but I don't care. It's quick to load up some more salt and keep going.The only lie has got to be the three foot accuracy because I am taking out flies resting on the ten foot ceiling while sitting down, with a near 100% accuracy. I'm loving the gun sight for aiming, though I'm often able to shoot without lining up the shot now just fine too. Almost out the gate, taking out the flies has been a piece of cake. I am absolutely delighted with the level of fun this thing provides. Finding bugs has gone from being a dreaded chore to a moment of glee for me... And I am so glad to have one of these again. I lost my last one in an apartment building fire a couple years ago, and am so happy to have been able to finally replace it,as there is no finer flykilling solution!

Kinda socks have to shoot some of them multiple times and it only goes 3 feet. Kinda dumb it could be so much better. Not a good buy
