Expectorant Cough Syrup with Guaifenesin, Sugar-Free for Chest Congestion Relief, 4oz Pack of 2

Regular Tussin is the only cough/congestion syrup I’m able to take. NOTHING with DM in it

Taste is pleasant. Keeps my lungs clear with post nasal drip.

For a bad bronchial cold I prefer to use straight Guiffenesin without the other chemicals. Guiffenesin breaks up the crud allowing it to be coughed up. It's my experience suppressing the cough is then bad because the stuff needs to be coughed up and cleared out otherwise pneumonia can set in - and that's a very bad thing. We've used several bottles of this cough syrup and would definitely consider buying again.

Why must it taste so awful? I am sure there are other things you could do to this to make it easier to take.

I can't use the products with the cough suppressant (DM) so it is extremely hard to find a cough syrup. I have an irregular heart beat & have been told to avoid certain ingredients. I need expectorant only, especially during the Spring pollen season. I was surprised to find it on Amazon & will be ordering more when needed

It is one of the few with no cough supresent works great if you have pneumonia
