My kid loves these
These are wonderful practice weapons! My son who is 11 loves these! A great heft and weight and really good length! Very much like the real thing but without the sharpness. He loves to swing it around and it is surprisingly heavy. The plastic holds up to heavy use and rough play.

Toys yes and no.
as i wrote a review for a diffrent style of these "plastic" swords i wrote that i got a bunch of these for the kids and myself and anyone who wants to "sword play" i get silly responses when i tell people about them but as soon as i hand them a sword and smack thiers with mine the battle begins and everyone is having a good time. but as a said in the title these allow us to have a good time without loosing a digit or a limb.BUT these can cause some damage if swung the right way and stuck the wrong way.SoooToys both Yes and No...
