Steadyrack Bicycle wall mount

Q: What is the widest tire anyone has put on these racks? I have a 29 x 2.4 - thinking it may not fit well...

It should fit. The back brace, which your tire slips through, is 2 3/8". You might have to push a little... but it should be able to get through it. The holding brace (the one that folds out) is wider so that won't be a problem. The 29" will easily stay in the holding brace. This is absolutely the best way to store your bikes. Easy to set up and easy to slip bike into holder. You just have to have the upper body strength to lift up the front tire. I have two and will never go back to anything else.

Q: 3 adult & 3 kids. will work well? How would you arrange them? Do you have to straighten them all out before you can get the one buried out?

Yes, they work well. I staggered heights and spaced them 18" apart. Yes, you have to swing them over to get to one in the middle. Hope this helps!

Q: The rack is great, but it doesn't work with bikes that have fenders. I didn't see anything on the mfg or product site re this; suggestions?

I ordered the one for bikes with fenders. I couldn’t find the exact width of the part that slides under the fender. It is 3.5” at the widest part so it did not work for my bike with fender. You must have 3.5 inch width clearance between your fender stays at the edge of the tire/fender for this fender rack to work.

Q: Does this rack come in white as well?
