Q: Is there supposed to be something that separates the cards from the phone? I’m concerned that my phone will deactivate my cards!

I used this product for my iPhone 7 Plus for 2 years and my iPhone X for several months. My cards have not deactivated. There is not a barrier between the cards and the iPhone, but o have never had an issue. I am so confident that I only carry my phone with drivers license and 2 credits cards, which is about the max that will fit....maybe a lone $20 would fit but that’s definitely all I have been able to squeeze into it. Also, my husband is always using his card holder like a stand, so he stretched it out and cannot reliably hold cards anymore. I never use it as a stand so my incipio case works every time. For years.

Q: How’s the drop protection on this case? I work outside doing landscaping and am wondering how this case holds up? Thanks for any info!

thick shell - I think you will be fine - more sturdy than other Stowaway cases I have had in the past. Holds 3 cards rather than the 2 cards the old ones held - gives you an indication of the thickness

No it will not. It only fits the X and the XS
