Solid investment for a solid fan.
To begin at the beginning: Yes, the fan looks as beautiful in person as it does in the Amazon thumbnail. Aesthetics being the primary reason I ordered this specific 200mm fan I was quite pleased to find out that the Spectre Pro performs on par with it's excellent appearance. The fan that this replaced was a stock 200mm fan that came with my Corsair 600T. The stock fan moved a reasonable amount of air but emitted a high pitch, headphone piercing whine which eventually became too much to bear. The Spectre Pro was a perfect fit replacement for the front intake fan on my 600T, moves significantly more air and does so much more quietly. While this fan may not be literally silent it is practically silent, any sound is more than sufficiently drown out by ambient noise.Beyond performance the fan feels much more solid and stable than the fan that it replaced. There is an inner body to which the fan and motor is mounted, then an outer white ring that; while clearly intended to be decorative, actually serves to increase the fan's weight and rigidity. For modders this outer ring is easily removed for painting or general maintenance. Additionally since this product line also has a version with LEDs there are holes present where the LEDs would have been, someone who knows his or her way around a soldering iron could probably add lights to this fan fairly easily.Pros:-Beautiful-Solid-Functionally silent-High air flow-Moddable for the brave-Perfect fit for a Corsair 600TNeutral:-Not PWM (Not a negative, just means you have to use software or a fan-controller to adjust them.)Cons:-None apparentIn conclusion, these fans are powerful, silent, beautiful, and well worth the investment. I would suggest checking to see that the Specter Pro will fit in your specific case before buying, as the shape is somewhat unconventional.Highly recommended! Odds are I'll buy more in the future.

Shame it's hidden behind the case panel
Got this fan as a replacement for the front case fan on a TT Chaser A7 case. Fits fine, and is virtually silent. Even at 100% it's barely audible. It's 3pin, but I have it connected to a fan controller so I can adjust it as needed. TDB should last a while, I'll update this if any issues arise, but so far, it's working, is very quiet even at 100%, and moves plenty of air to keep my stack of hdd's cool.

Great fans..be sure your case can handle them.
I purchased two of these to replace the crummy stock fans in my Corsair Graphite 600T.These fans are very well built and feature three standard screw mount positions. This model has no indication of flow / rotation. MINUS 1 EGG.Perspectives from front of Corsair 600T case. Generation 1.Installation of the front fan is possible with the aid of a washer to expand the head size of the lower right hand mounting screw. The upper right hand screw fits through a vent hole if carefully "aligned". The other two require drilling. However, when you re-install the lower half of the HDD mounting cage assembly it acts as a lock for the left hand side of the fan. Thus I did not feel the need to drill mounting screw holes three and four. The top fan simply will not fit inside without extensive modifications. Meaning I couldn't get it to fit. It will however sort of "snap" into the top if you remove the grate and forgo screws. Not so good if you are going to move it around much or care about looks. Still, it exhausts air exceptionally well due to the complete lack of exhaust restriction typically caused by the dual fan grates. The GoodVery high quality (best that I have seen to date for PC use)Quiet and low frequency noise. Very acceptable even with both fans at full throttle.Multiple mounting options and mounting holesLong cable (with Molex adapter)Dropped my idle temperatures (full flow) by 12 degrees C. Full throttle dropped by 11 degrees C. My PC is NOT ideally placed for intake air, I would expect that the typical user would achieve better results than this. The BadBulky (but not HUGE)No flow or rotation indicator (no directions included or on box )I would purchase this brand again without hesitation.TIP the EXHAUST of the fan has the plastic finger guard, and the model number sticker. In the photo above you are seeing the INTAKE of the fan.UPDATE: FYI the fan lasted about a year until it failed completely. It was in a well filtered enclosure and there were no unusual circumstances. Typical daily use, non-pet, non-smoking household. Hopefully this was a exception and not common to the series/brand.

great airflow
These fans have great airflow. They're pretty quiet. I can't hear the sound of the fans because the woosh of the air is louder (I have them set up to push air out of my corsair c70 case). Only downsides are the cables and molex connectors. The cables are thin and coated in black plastic, but long enough to make cable management easy. The molex connectors look cheap and don't have the ability to connect them together to run off of one connector line from the power supply. I had some extras from some NZXT's and used those instead.

Best Case Fan I have ever used!! Awesome!
One of the best fans I have ever used. This is my second one. No the first one is not bad still going strong. Been using the first one for over four years every day. I installed this one in a new computer case I bought removing the fan that came with the case. Provides excellent cooling across the mother board. Keep it clean and yours will hold up too. You wont hear it much till you need it. Nice lighting not over the top but just enough. Thsi is a big fan so make sure you case can handle it. Fan one is in a Corsair Carbide Series 500R and Fan 2 is in a Cooler Master HAF XB II EVO. The Spectre Pro is a winner for me.

Not Worth It
These fans do not perform as advertised. My Corsair 550D stock fans move more air than these and the bearing is quieter. I did a test with both fans running at 12v and used an empty envelope to see how much air was being pushed. The Bitfenix Spectre Pro are a joke. The frame of the fans is very weak as well. You can twist it with no effort and are very light in terms of mass versus the 550D stock fans.If you want outstanding fans for the same price get the Gentle Typhoons AP-15.

Quiet fan. Used as a roof vent intake fan for my RV
I purchased this brand of fan due to a recommendation from another website for the application I was looking for. I was searching for a quiet and efficient fan to use for a RV roof vent fan. Low power consumption along with high air movement were the qualities I was looking for. I tried to use this fan with a 12v speed controller but it didn't work. I believe this was due to the voltage demands needed to run the fan and not due to the speed controller itself. It wouldn't start at the low speed setting and would stall when the speed setting was lowered rather than run at a slower speed. Sadly the fan couldn't be run in reverse. I was hoping to use the fan with a DPDT switch so I could use it as either an intake fan or an exhaust fan. I am using it as an intake fan for now and it is indeed quiet and works well for my need. Time will tell it's lifespan and if it likes moisture when I decide to use it in rainy weather. It wont be exposed directly to water but may receive moist air.

Excelente ventilador
El flujo de aire que tiene es excelente, a pesar de que tengo otro de 20cm metiendo aire al gabinete (de otra marca) , este me genera vacío ya que lo puse sacando aire

Extreme airflow. Slick look
Insane airflow. It. Shoots air out of the case. Looks like a tornado with a smoke test.

Solid fans with many mounting holes.
I bought these to replace the Coolermaster MF200R Fans in my CM H500 case, the main reason being is that the CM fans didn't seem to push much air and were very loud with a buzzing/humming noise over 70%, I didn't expect much of a difference but these fans are so much better than the generally more expensive CM fans...I have set these Betfenix fans to constantly run at around 70% as this seems like a good combination of acoustics and performance, at this speed they are definitely audible but not loud enough to be a pain, there is also no slight humming or buzzing noise like there was with the CM fans, the sound these Bitfenix fans emit is a very consistant whoosh of the air being blasted rather than anything from the fan itself, the fans feel powerful and they definitely and without a doubt blast alot more air than the CM fans ever did, even at 40% speed these Betfenix fans feel like 100% speed did on the CM fans - you can seriously feel the force.Included in the box with the fan are 4 normal screws, 4 long screws (which worked perfectly with my CoolerMaster H500 case), 4 silent rubber mounts if that's your thing (although I find them way too fiddly) and lastly 3-pin to 4-pin molex adapter, but please note if you use this adapter then the fan will run at a solid 100% with no way to control it and at 100% speed this fan like most fans will get relatively loud so it's best to connect the fan directly to your motherboard when possible.Lastly I wanted to note that the build quality of these fans is solid with a strong and thick matte plastic casing and thick chunky blades where as the CM MF200R fans have a more cheaper feeling glossy plastic casing which was probably contributing to the strange humming/buzzing noise I was getting from them.Overall these fans seem like an absolute gem for the price and are far better than some more expensive ones, I'd highly recommend them to anyone wanting really powerful airflow, not to mention simply good airflow with silence if you run them under 50% speed.

CFM is great and a large noticeable difference from stock fans
CFM is great and a large noticeable difference from stock fans. replaced 3 stock 200mm fans and GPU temps dropped 20 degrees when mining. Wish that Amazon would stock more for prime because this is too good compared to other options
