Super easy to set up but the rods for the back support are slightly too long and difficult to get in place (a number of reviews have noted this slight product defect) and also its a bit of a squeeze to get everything back into the carrying bag. Other than that love the functionality, super comfortable and my little daughter loves it as she thinks its a swing.

I bought this chair for my wife for our anniversary bc she wanted a rocking chair for camping and Nemo has a pretty solid reputation in the outdoor gear world. However, I don’t think the design engineers ever sat in this chair before they sent it out for production. Set up is very easy until you get to install the back support rods. The stitched “sleeve “ is way too snug to allow the rods to advance up into them without working up a sweat as you try to muscle them into place. When you sit in it, your shoulders are pushed inward toward your sternum, so unless you lean back with your hands clasped behind your head, it makes for an uncomfortable sitting position. Lastly, the vertical supports next to the armrests need to be redesigned so that they flare out more, otherwise your elbows bang into them whenever you try to rock. I’m 5’8” and 180 lbs and my wife is of similar build. I can’t imagine how a larger adult would ever be comfortable sitting in this chair. For the price Nemo is asking on this product, they need to go back to the drawing board. My wife doesn’t have the same positional issues, so I’m going to order the cheaper brand, see if it’s as good, and hopefully save some money by returning the Nemo.

Outstanding chair. When you first open it, it looks like an extensive set up, but its not. These folks really used their head in the design process, thing practically sets itself up. Materials are high quality and set up is a breeze with a little thought.One recommendation, and this applies to any other folding, cloth chair - take a page from hammock camping when using any chair of this type in cool or cold weather. You want to tie an 'under quilt' under the chair for warmth. I've been using a military-style poncho liner and it works create.For anyone that's never used a hammock, any insulating item you sit on will only compress and you'll still feel the cold. Tie on a blanket under the chair and you'll stay comfortable in cooler climates. This applies not to this chair but any folding, cloth chair.
