Challenging!
Glad I got this book to work on during my off time. I found the activities challenging, fun and passes the time well. The only thing I would suggest to improve on with this product next go around would be to make the puzzles a bit larger in size. It does get a bit tiresome to see the puzzles due to their smaller size on the page.

Love the Challenge
I enjoy the difficulty level of the Brown Belt level, after finishing the Green Belt with ease. This book is organized such that each page has 8x8 on the top half and 9x9 on the bottom half. The user has the option to alternate 8x8 and 9x9 on each page, or in my case, I finish the 8x8 on all pages and return to the first page and enjoy my 9x9. This allows me to build up the skills on 8x8 before I tackle 9x9.

Perfect Kenken book
This book contains 8x8 and 9x9 puzzles. The puzzles are the perfect difficulty for someone who already knows how to work kenken puzzles but wants something a little more challenging. There are no "easy" puzzles in this book. Every puzzle is of the same difficulty. Just to give an example of some of the math involved, one of the puzzles requires you to figure out what 4 numbers can be multiplied to get 3,024 and what 3 numbers can be multiplied to get 384, 147, 225,and 270. I bought this book because I already own the brown and black belt kakuro books and love them.

Challenging and great
I am a avid puzzle solver. I love kenken and this book met all expectations. I did not want to be frustrated with killer puzzles but I still wanted to be challenged. This volume of puzzles filled all my requirements. There are four levels of difficulty offered by the publisher. I hope most puzzle solvers are smart enough to know which level suits them best.

Like Sudoku with a twist...
My daughter got me started with the White Belt book. I've completed the White Belt and Green Belt books...so far. :)

Consistently difficult
I rate this considerably higher than either the Will Shortz Diabolical or Atrocious books, both of which contain many trivially easy 5x5 puzzles. This book contains 300 puzzles, equally split between 8x8 and 9x9. They are consistently difficult, without being frustratingly so. The "Brown Belt" title is completely apt - these are not for beginners.

Puzzles too small
The size of the kenken puzzles are waaaay to small for me. I'm sure they are fine for people with better eyesight or smaller handwriting.

A little harder than I expected.
Didn't realize all puzzles were 8x8 or 9x9. Really working my little pea brain. A good thing! It will take me a while to complete.

Good addition to the KenKen family
This book consists of 8x8 and 9x9 puzzles, 1 of each to a page. I've given the book 4 stars because the format of 2 on each page means that there isn't a great deal of space for writing when working out the more complex maths. I've completed about 20 of them and so far they are suitably challenging without being impossible.

For regular KenKen freaks
Great for those who are used-to KenKen.In fact, a god-send for those who don't need the easier or introductory puzzles. This book contains only 8x8 and 9x9 puzzles. This is the book we have been waiting for!
