Best Value Nook HD+ Case
The Nook might be on it's way to the gadget graveyard but I love my Nook HD+ and hope it lasts me a long time. I want to protect it but I also don't want to spend as much money on a case as I did for the Nook itself, so for $20 this one is a winner. It holds the Nook snugly in place via hard "prongs" that the Nook HD+ will set into. I would best describe it as the prongs used in jewelry to hold gems in place. Once the Nook is in, it doesn't move and won't slide around. I've seen some awful iPad cases where the iPad will want to slip out of the case if you hold it wrong, but that won't happen with this case. The Nook might pop out of the setting if you drop the entire thing but for normal use it will stay put.The case folds back flush to allow normal tablet use, the hand strap can be useful but more often than not I just hold it with my other hand. The case also doubles has a stand if need be, but I haven't had the need to use the stand functionality yet. The case is made of a nice faux leather and the inside felt will not scratch or damage your Nook. One important note is that this is made for the Nook HD+ with the 9" display (either 16gb or 32gb). Since the tablet fits via the prongs you can't use this case for another tablet with different dimensions (it will be pretty much useless as a cover case for another tablet). But if you have the Nook HD+, you won't find a better case for the money.

Smelly but excellent Nook HD+ case
I did quite a bit of research before I purchased a case for my new Nook HD+. I was leery of buying one without touching it first as I'm a very tactile person. I knew I wanted on that featured a strap for single-hand use. I was pleasantly surprised when my case arrived. It fits the Nook very well--it feels very secure. The strap for single-hand use is a wee bit loose (I have small hands) but gripping the notch used to prop the case at an angle solves that problem. The leather used on the case is excellent and has a soft, luxurious feel. There's also an elastic cord that is used to secure the back flap when the case is open. This is easy to use and keeps the cover from flopping around. The case is flexible where it needs to be, but both covers are nice and rigid. It also features a small pen loop which is nice for securing a stylus. The only thing that keeps me from rating this a 5 is the smell. The case has a musty smell that has not dissipated much in the month I've owned it. It's not a deal breaker and doesn't lessen the effectiveness of the case, but if you're as sensitive to smell as I am, it's something to keep in mind.Pros:One hand use strap.Pen/stylus loopSolid constructionExcellent "feel"Cons:SmellyHand strap is loose if you have small hands

MoKo Slim-Fit Case for Barnes & Noble Nook HD+
I really like my new MoKo Slim-Fit Case for Barnes & Noble Nook HD+. I bought a purple one for myself and a black one for my husband. The cases have a slight grain to the 'leather' but they feel nice and smooth. We tried buying the covers/cases they had for sale at Barnes and Noble, but not only were they ridiculously expensive, they were too bulky. This MoKo Slim-Fit Case for Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ was just what I was looking for and I really like the band where you can slip your hand into for holding the device when the cover is folded back. The case has several different positions for different uses which I find to be a plus. I do not regret buying these cases and I think you will like them, too. Total thumbs up here.Oh .. the cases have a slightly odd smell after taking them out of the plastic bag. I'm hoping that smell dissapates over time. Other than that, completely satisfied.

Too early for 5 star rating!!
This case is nice and serves the purpose, but for the $ price I paid, I was disappointed that it seems cheaply made and the inside lining isn't as thick as it looked like in the photo on the Amazon site. Also I was disappointed, that the elastic strap, that you can wrap around the case when you have it opened, is not very wide. Hopefully it will hold up to the usage of it. But then again, it does have a life time warranty. I just received it today.....so time will tell from using it, if it will get a 5 star rating from me.I do like the hand strap it has and will be so helpful when holding my tablet. The sleep/wake function does work and is a nice feature to have.Thank You!!

Like this Moko Slim-Fit Multi-angle Folio Cover Case a Lot!!
Had a zippered cover that I liked until it had to be replaced. Searched for a replacement and came across this cove by Moko. Was pleasantly surprised with this little gem. Love the special features like the automatic ON / OFF when the cover is opened / closed and latched, the elastic band for securing the tablet in the verticle one-hand strap hold, the padded shell and the four corner and two side grips that really hold securely. The one drawback is the one-hand strap. I happen to have arthritis in the hand holding the book which can be very painful at times and unfortunately, not ambidextrous. Otherwise, a decent product.Yes. I would defenitely recommend to a friend.

Good case, well woth the money!
So this is the second case of this general style (there are other vendors who sell similar designs) and so far the second one is the keeper. It fits correctly and the lid closes with out any extra pressure on the front bezel. Angle positions work well and it's firmly attached to the device. All ports are easily accessible. My only complaint, and why it just missed five stars, is that the clasp just barely holds it closed. The design/manufacture seems to be just a little off. It's close enough that it will hold it closed, but will not keep closed with any pressure placed on the case from any angle. It "just" holds on. But that's good enough, specially at the $6 I paid for it including delivery. Contributing to the one lower star is that the quality of the cuts and angles of some of the interior trim are slightly off, still mechanically sound and I believe it will still be suitably rugged for the long haul, just obvious that there is only so much you can put into a case at $6. That is not to be a slight in the case, even at this quality level I would have felt fine paying $10 for it, just them's the details.Anyways this is a keeper and I'm happy now, the nook is protected!
