I rarely write reviews but this bag exceeded my expectations and I'm upset with myself I hadn't purchased one sooner. I purchased this weekender bag last minute before a quick cross country trip to use as a carry on. It fit all of my carry on essentials (large headphones, laptop, notebook, magazines, some toiletries, sweatshirt, large water bottle, etc) and I had still had plenty of room. Side note: I am a chronic over-packer. I even was able to put my purse inside to have one less bag to carry. It's definitely a "black hole" kind of bag, so I used other small zip pouches to keep things semi-organized inside of it. The trolley sleeve is a game changer if you are traveling with a rolling suitcase. As others have mentioned, the zip pocket on the sleeve held my iPhone and boarding pass while walking through the airport (eliminating that moment of panic before you board when you can't find your phone or your boarding pass in your purse).I didn't use the bottom compartment for shoes so I can't speak to how well shoes fit or impact the room in the main compartment of the bag. But I did find the bottom zip compartment perfect for my laptop, magazines, a book and some other work related stuff. It's not as structured of a bag as the photos make it appear but that personally didn't bother me. I think it makes it easier to pack it full and put it under a plane seat or overhead compartment.It fit just fine under the seat on the plane (American Airlines). It held up great after 2 flights and 4 days of hotel hopping. The quality is far better than I expected and I personally find it pretty stylish and classic looking (I purchased the beige). Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly, useful, chic tote, I highly recommend.

I absolutely SCOURED Amazon for the the perfect weekender and I think it paid off!I wanted a bag that had a zipper pocket luggage sleeve, a separate shoe compartment, and a few inside pockets. So this bag nailed that criteria, but so did so many others on here. Here's what I think of my choice:On first impression the bag is really nice looking. It looks more expensive than it is. There is not a single loose stitch or stray thread on this entire bag and believe me, I looked! The liner seams are reinforced. The pocket seams are reinforced. The thread quality is great, heavy duty and appropriate for the material. The canvas looks like it will wear nicely but it is slightly lighter weight than I expected. The leather is obviously faux but it's heavy duty, high quality faux. Hardware is a very pretty gold-not too yellow, not brassy, and I personally like that the zipper is brown instead of gold metal. I've had more problems with those big metal zippers than they're worth. Zippers on this bag all pull very smoothly. This has to be one of the best made budget weekenders on Amazon.The luggage sleeve fits well over both of my rolling suitcase handles. The zipper pocket in the sleeve is big enough for your travel wallet, passports and tickets, or a book/Kindle. There is another patch pocket on the other side of the bag's exterior that's approximately the same size. No zipper on that pocket. There are three interior pockets (two slot pockets and one larger zippered pocket) and again the quality is evident in the stitching. The interior lining fabric is not luxury high quality but it is going to be durable.The straps are not going to fall off. They're strong and stiff and attached by grommets. The shoulder strap is adjustable, and I appreciate that it adjusts like a belt instead of like a bra strap. It's faster because faux leather tends to stick to itself when you start adjusting straps.When empty, this is NOT a structured bag, it's a floppy canvas weekender. The only structure is the reinforced base and the handles. I prefer mostly unstructured, personally. It has a large capacity and I will update my review when I go on my next trip to illustrate with pictures what all you can fit in this bag!There was a very faint chemical odor when it arrived. I am highly sensitive to that kind of smell. Husband didn't notice at all. After a couple hours, the odor disappeared entirely.What a good deal for a great looking weekender!Please hit the helpful button if my review or pictures helped you decide!

Cute details and bigger than I thought. Has a cool flap on the side that slides over your carryon handle. Super handy.

I loved this set. Holds everything you need for a long weekend or an overnight. Very durable with strong zipper and straps for carrying. I suggest spraying with water and stain repellant although the canvas is washable.

I love this weekender, it is stylish, roomy for everything I need on a weekend, the shoes fit in the separate compartment in the base and the main part of the bag opens wide for packing and easily finding stuff as you need it. The crossbody and toiletry bag are great bonus bags. I couldn't believe the price of this weekender for everything I got, and shipping in 2 days.

Sturdy bag with solid seams. Holds quite a bit of stuff! The first image is confusing, because it doesn't come with the toiletry bag or the crossbody bag in the photo.It's soft-sided and durable. Others seem to be having issues with the zipper, but that hasn't been my experience.

This bag is not rigid and it is lightweight. I like how soft it feels. The colors look nice. The brown, navy blue, cream, and the shiny (not yellow) hardware give this bag a very nice look. Not cheap looking at all. I love it! I was torn between the beige and the striped navy blue, but decided to go with the striped one for a more fun look. I'm glad I did and I'm not disappointed. I didn't see a lot of pictures of the striped navy blue one when I bought this, so I hope these pictures help you make a decision. I included pictures of how the bag looks when full and also empty. I saw different bags with similar design like this from other sellers, but the color and quality of the faux leather of this one and the canvas body make it more expensive looking than the other ones. Plus, I like how this one has a shorter shoe compartment. It looks like it will hold it's shape better and won't look as wrinkled/smashed when not full. This also means you have a bigger space in the main compartment. You can still fit bigger items in the bottom compartment, the dividing layer will just get pushed up to the main compartment.

El tamaño quedo exacto para mi vuelo .el material es resistente y la maleta se ve muy elegante.Fácilmente acomode todo lo necesario para mi viaje de 5 días (incluyendo ropa; como vestidos playeros, mi rizador de cabello y maletín de maquillaje)El compartimiento que tiene abajo esta excelente ,yo lo utilice para guardar dos pares de tacones (delgados) y unas sandalias de playa.No viaje por tantos días así que fácilmente me quedo espacio para agregar cosas.Ahora por el momento solo la estoy usando para mis salidas de fin de semana ,la maleta va casi vacía pero es muy cómoda (sobre todo para no tener que poner zapatos sucios junto con mi ropa) así que la seguiré usando.

Great travel bag lightweight easy to carry or put on handle of luggage water resistant. Mine took a tumble into a large puddle from a tsunami. I just picked it up wiped it off perfect. Would buy again but don't need too the one I bought still looks brand new

The bag is very nice and exactly what I was looking for for 2-3 days traveling but to my disappointment the smaller bags showing on the photo are not included so please note that the article is referring only to the weekend bag
