Komodo Large Natural Moss Cave

I liked the fact that that it looks nice and is a good hide for my tortoise enclosure but with the tortoise climbing like they do bits of the inside come away and my tortoise was stuck with his claws and I had to rescue him and cut the culprit off from the inside of the cave. I now have to regularly check that he doesn’t get stuck again but apart from that it is a good product and is still being used in my vivarium. Also it is also not that big and would not be suitable for a larger tortoise. My tortoise is quite small.

Brought this in size medium for my 1 year old hermann tortoise. It’s a great size and fit for him.I ordered the large to begin with thinking it would allow him to grow into it, however as you can see from the third photo it was way too big for him and he kept climbing to the top, then falling off it, so brought a medium instead.Only criticism is to start with sometimes his claws would get stuck in the side, but he soon got used to it, and that’s no longer a problem. The colour has faded somewhat, but he’s had it nearly a year and I’d imagine his UV lamp has contributed to this.

It holds together well, looks great. Holds moisture so maintains humidity. Dark for nights, room for him to grow into it

The only thing that has made me throw this away is that it produces little flies in the vivarium.

I bought large size, I came in a battered box, the shape was distorted but most of all it’s SMALL. The next size down would only be suitable for a hamster if this size is anything to go by. Complete waste of money.

My bearded dragon loves it

Bought has a hideaway and does the job. Has other hiding areas. Not so good as they have tried to munch but seem to have stopped now.
