Printed smooth but major spooling issues
First the good: This is the smoothest filament I've ever used. It worked wonderfully for both complex parts with detail as well as clean printing on larger flat surfaces. Now the bad: Whoever spooled this should be ashamed. After making a few smaller test prints I set up a larger print (about 40 hours total). Around 1 hour in I hit the first snag - the filament had a hard bend which stopped the printer from extruding and ground up a good portion of filament dust that had to be cleaned away, after this I started unwinding the filament to another spool just to see if it was a one off and it wasn't. About every 6ft of filament there was a hard angle where it appeared that the spooler folded over. This is terribly inconvenient for anyone who wants a good out-of-the-box experience and I hope this is just a one-off but it shows a lack of QC happening. I'm reluctant to order another spool due to this fairly major issue.

Prints well out of the box.
I ordered this simply for the color. I think its a little darker than the seller picture but still lighter than most greys. Seems to print well at 212 and 60 bed on my ender 3 pro. I'm using a creality glass bed with aquanet wiped on it. Zero adhesion issues with that setup. Almost no stringing either. This material is softer and more flexible than straight pla or other pla+ I've used. No issues with the unrolling, comes off smooth. Overall happy with this filament and will buy again.

Very smooth printing and very easy on layer lines
I've used a variety of manufacturers PLA filaments in several different colors and this particular spool from FilaCube (Mint Blue) is fantastic. I have used quite a bit of it through my Ender 3 Pro and have had no issues with the spooling as was mentioned by other reviewers. Running mine at 205C/60C I've had good adhesion to the bed and layer to layer. Compared to other brands this material has layered very smoothly and the layer lines are much less noticeable. I'll definitely be buying a few more colors from FilaCube to try them out as well. Very pleased with the product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

This Filacube PLA 2 filament is smooth.
Filacube has a winner here with their PLA 2 filament. Prints very smoothly on my Ender 3 with little to no stringing or blobs. Printed objects have a very similar texture and workability as ABS. It isn't brittle and is easy to trim and sands well. I'm printing at 205 - 210C with a bed temperature of 50C. I hope they come out with more colors though like a darker blue, green, and yellow. And maybe some nylon and carbon fiber composites.

beautiful filament!
I jumped right in with this filament and did a 24 hour print - the first picture is the lithophane box AFTER I dry brushed it to give it an antique look - the second pic shows the inside of the box and the undersie of the lid so you see the true color - I checked the filament diameter at several points during the print and the largest variation was .02 and that was in just one spot - all of the others were less than .01 variation and on all tested spots there were no "out of round" issues - the spool was well wound and there were no issues with feed - I printed with 210 degree nozzle and 60 degree bed - these are the settings I generally us for all PLA+ and they worked well for this filament too - pigmentation was even throughout and the color was great - I would recommend this filament for anyone who wants a quality trouble-free print

Excellent Filament!! My new standard!
I met the owner of FilaCube at a Maker Faire and was looking for a new filament to try. I ordered from Amazon and began printing items for Halloween including the Ravens in the attached photo (I printed the ravens in multiple parts which if you look closely you can see the lines where the parts were glued together. Also there is black tape on the head to hold it in place while the glue dried. The lines and tape are not the filament). The FilaCube filament printed great resulting in prints that were very smooth and looked fantastic. Layer adhesion was fantastic and the overall look of the print was better than I expected. The prints had a silky like touch and look and it was difficult to even see the layer lines. I've been looking for a filament made in the U.S. to use as my standard filament which is consistently good and reasonably priced and now the search is over. Looking forward to trying the other colors. I highly recommend this filament!

Yes! Its good stuff and you should buy some!
Seriously great stuff! My favorite part is that its MADE IN THE USA! Im really impressed with how solid my turned out with only 15% infill. Never got a clog, no oozing or stringing (volcano hotend, 6mm nozzle, @235, 5mm layer height, 45 mm/sec). I usually print a lot with ABS but this will be my "go to" filament from now on. I did take several measurements and it showed to be +/- 0.03 as advertised. Looking forward to trying more colors!

tall-ish long parts with a small footprint WILL warp
Pros:* finish is amazing! smmth and slippery* interlayer adhesion is very good* dimensionally stable* overall beutiful prints* made here in the USA* responsive tech supportCons:* Warping. Unintuitively, you need less than 40C bed temp, and even down to no bed heat at all to print well for large flat items. but that was not enough for items with a small footprint, but tall as the part in the pics. They still warped, on EZMat, tape, glu - you name it.* for those as in the pictures, I ended up using a standard PLA raft, pausing, changing filaments to Filacube for the part. this kept it down on the bed.I'm still experimenting, trying different sized brims, as I do not want to keep using different materials for these specific parts. And that's just it - part geometry plays a huge role in your results. I spent at least 48 hours trying to get these parts to print without warping, and I would have only done that if the finished parts printed in this material were stellar. And basically, they are if you can control the warp of certain geometries.Sumamry:I have not given up on this material. It's look and feel and strength are really nice. I think I just need to get my printing chops up a bit to leverage it.
