Wanted to love it, but it doesn't work.
I installed this hose on a rain barrel that is elevated off the ground about 2 feet. The garden that I water is along the foundation of the house and has another 3 feet of fall by the time it gets to the end. I also purchased a T filter with 200 mesh and installed it at the same time, though the hose comes with its own little filter. There is about 4 feet of standard garden hose between the rain barrel, T filter and this soaker hose. The hose screen immediately did its job and clogged. I cleaned it and started it up again. Beads of water formed all along the hose, but that was it. Nothing really dripped and the beads of water were few and far between. After 4 days, the barrel is still full and the hose and soil is dry. I have checked the screens, which are clean, tested the solid hose and opened the end cap of the soaker, all flow fully with decent pressure for a barrel. My only conclusion is that this hose doesn't work with low pressure. I ignored the negative reviews and wish I hadn't. Returning the product.

Works, but we have a big system!
UPDATE: SEPT 2016: After two-three months of using this hose, it's stopped working as I reviewed it originally. Even with full pressure in our system, if weeps water slower than your average drip system. So slowly in fact, that I now leave it on one area or another for days at a time to slow soak the area. Water does come out but slower than even a standard wicking. I've cleared the hose, washed it out and double checked the internal filter. There was no debris (we have a good filter on the intake to the system.) Even removing the T-filter to increase the pressure, the water flow didn't get any better. At this point, yes, water will come out of it, but unless you want to leave it for days at a time, I can't recommend it.Original Review: We've had this hose for about 5 weeks now. We have it connected to a gravity fill six barrel system. (55/gal per barrel elevated 23") I think it works great, due to geography our system sits at the low point of our yard, so at ground level, there's a 2-5% incline of the gardens depending on where you are trying to water. We've found this hose, hooked up to our system to be consistent, reliable and trouble free. We have a filter on our downspout to keep debris out of our closed system, but have also installed the recommended T-filter on the spigot. We've yet to have to clean the T-Filter, so there's been no complications with the hose. The hose is, as you would imagine super lightweight and east to move around as we need to. It takes a long time to drip irrigate using gravity so we typically turn it on and walk away for about two hours to get the necessary amount of water to our gardens. The only problem we've discovered with this hose is that it has no tension of it's own, so with our system, if not supported it kinks right at the filter/spigot because of the angle and drop. A well placed support stake has solved this for us. I don't know how well this would work with a single barrel system, but for our 330 gallon system, it's perfect. We'll be purchasing a second hose soon!

Does Not Deplete The Barrel Enough
I originally rated this product as 3 stars but I should have waited to review it & use it for a longer period of time first. I've since updated my rating. From my experience, it is a waste of money. My barrels sit 12" above ground & my garden is downhill which I assumed would only increase the flow of water & optimize it's soaking ability. The flow of water out of the hose is painfully slow. The first few uses, if left on long enough it will deplete the barrel half way but then it just stopped. After that, it barely empties more than a quarter of the barrel. The filter is not clogged & the hose is not kinked. I flushed the hose & no blockage. There are sections in the hose that are not expressing any water & the ground under those areas remains dry.I figured maybe I was doing something incorrectly, so I attempted to contact the company and even sent photos of my concerns via Facebook but they never respond. I'm wondering if they are even still in business. For me, it's was a total bust!

Doesn't release the water.
Like other reviewers, my hose stopped working right away even though I have the filter clean and my barrel is elevated. I finally tried poking holes in the hose with a thumb tack and the hose seemed to self-heal. Wondering what I have to do to get this hose to drop.

Worked for literally 10 minutes and water in barrel never ...
Worked for literally 10 minutes and water in barrel never dropped more than 6 ". Ended up drilling small hole in it every few inches... I think soaker hoses that work with rain barrels must be a myth.
