I thought this was so cute in the picture and could not wait for it to arrive. Unfortunately when I unboxed it, the bottom part of the mushroom house had liquid dripping from it, which seemed to be water. There was also something clanging around inside that sounded like little beads, not sure what this was but worried me that something was broken. I don't know how it got in there considering it was packaged in styrofoam and then a box, but the whole bottom of the item was wet. I was worried it would not work because the liquid likely got into the battery area and sure enough, even after a nice charge in the sun, it does not work. Very Disappointed. Either it got wet during packaging, was not handled with care or something inside it caused it to leak and break.

I love this little faerie cottage! It looks so quaint when it lights up at night!

Out of the 6 I bought, this one is very cute and small, brightening up space between pots. It lights up bright but won't stay on (flickers on button press, prob wiring), though I didn't care about solar when I bought them: I'm not on my patio at night. It's easy to get faulty wiring or an old battery in these things, I might try to fix it - or not. I will fill the windows eventually, though, so they aren't mosquito homes.

Whenever it comes on in the garden, I tell my husband, “The fairies are home!” Hahaha! This is precious! It will make you or any lucky recipient smile every time they see it!

Old flower garden renewed! Purchased the mushroom cottage with solar light (on the right side of the picture) and it worked when I took it out of the box and turned it on! Item is as advertised and not very big but perfect for the small and forgotten flower garden by the mailbox! Seems sturdy enough and it has lots of detail. I think my grandkids will find the flower garden delightful!
