These pots are great for so many reasons: lightweight, biodegradable, breathable and they don't steal water from soil like clay. I immediately reported 2 ferns and they are thriving so far.

I put almost all my plants in terra cotta pots. But I had a hanging plant that needed a larger pot, and terra cotta was just too heavy--I was afraid it would pull the hook right out of my crappy popcorn ceiling. Sure, plastic is lightweight, but the plastic pots I've used didn't drain well enough and I've ended up with soggy roots and dead plants. These cork pots seem like a good alternative. This one is light enough not to destroy my ceiling, it seems to drain and to breathe well, and it looks good. My plant and I are happy with it so far.

The saucer is eco friendly, too, but I just don’t care for the way it looks. I would have liked it more if it was just a flat cork, like a coaster. But that’s just my preference. Products themselves are great quality!

These work great for my aloe plants. Quality is great and will order again.
