Work great. Ignore the silly reviews.
I have used numerous of these switches in various projects, both my own and for clients. Was hestitant at first despite from of the reviews. Long short, they work great if you know what you are doing (basic electrical skills and such). I have purchased and installed many of these touch activated switches, from latching (no LED) to latching with LED always on, to stepless dimming (LED on when light on). All have worked from the start and continue to work perfectly. Really great switches. Note that these switches do not interrupt the red (positive) wires as in most mechanical toggle switches, but instead interrupt the black to green connection (negative); in other words, the black and green wire CANNOT share a common ground but must instead remain on separate, isolated circuits (green to battery negative, black to light negative). This is exactly as shown in their installation instructions. However, I tried to take a shortcut with this light as I was swapping out an older, mechanical toggle switch and had wired the light so that its black/negative ground wire was connected to chassis ground, which is also ultimately connected back to my "house" battery ground in my vehicle. The touch switch didn't operate under these conditions (unlike most 12V DC mechanical toggle switches). I have since disconnected the light's ground wire from its connection with chassis ground and connected it directly to the black wire of the touch switch, and viola! All the switches I have utilized work perfectly! I've included the wiring schematic I received.

Pre-wired.
These LED dimmer switches come pre-wired. They are about a half an inch in diameter. They are used for 12 volt circuits up to 24 volt circuits. They have a max current rating of 3 amps. They are small enough that they will fit into an area of my camper van that will not take up too much room. They light up so you know where they are to touch them and turn on your lights. The only negative with something that lights up like this is the fact that it will drain some of the battery.

Good switch, just worded wrong.
After trying to beat this switch to death, I figured it out. Instructions not specific. There are 4 wires coming off the switch. #1-Black wire- goes to battery ground, #2 red wire goes to ignition wire, not battery. #3 red wire goes to lights, #4 yellow wire goes to lights ground wire or wires. It is not an on-off switch. it is only a dimmer switch. On - off requires key on to turn on, and key off to turn off. Hope this helps everyone.

Avoid
**1/5 Stars - Button Failed After 2 Months, Avoid This Product** **Pros:** - Nice stainless steel finish and solid feel - Quality cable construction - LED light ring has attractive appearance **Cons:** - Critical failure after only 2 months: button completely stopped working - Can no longer turn lights on/off or adjust dimming - Light ring still illuminates but is useless without functional button - Poor reliability despite premium appearance **Overall:** This 24V LED button looked promising with its quality stainless finish and solid construction, but it's a complete waste of money. After just 2 months of normal use, the button mechanism failed entirely - I can't turn the lights on/off or adjust dimming anymore. The light ring itself still works, but that's meaningless when the actual button is dead. The nice cable and finish are pointless when the core functionality fails this quickly. I should have listened to the other negative reviews warning about reliability issues. For a 24V lighting control that should last years, having it die in 2 months is completely unacceptable. **Would I buy again?** Absolutely not. **Recommendation:** Avoid at all costs - look for a different brand with better long-term reliability reviews. Don't be fooled by the nice appearance like I was.

Won't last long
After a few months one has burned out and I don't know if they even have a warranty

Works great. Love this.
This is great. Glows blue at night. Touch on off set dimmer. I use on my boat. Easy on easy find. Lights up the cabin well.

Its small and it dims
This little dimmer button is fun. It's biggest problem is making itself know to those who aren't looking for it. It is simply a touch dimmer for 12v, max 36 watt, LED lights. Touch it and it comes on. Hold your touch and it dims up or down, depending on it dimmoing state. If you stop dimming at a point of brightness that you like and turn the light off by touching the button, it will return to that level when you touch the button and turn it back on. It is very small and compact and doesn't cause flicker (when used with the right power supply and lights) and is silent. If you are looking for an unobtrusive small dimmer, this could be your best bet. The photo above shows the switch mounted in a corner oak piece I made to dim under the under-counter lights.

What a waste of time the only thing that works with the switch is the blue light. It did not turn the LED lights on or off waste of money and time.
