The same durability and protection of a combat jacket with the comfort of the original combat shirt with the addition of a 1/4 zip front with Mandarin collar for added protection. Based off the current military design that helps reduce the severity of burn injuries while providing a more comfortable uniform top under body Armor and vests. The body of the shirt is made from cordura Baselayer fabric that meets the no Melt, no drip thermal requirements officers demand while keeping them cool and dry by wicking away moisture from the body

expensive, but so, so worth it
I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the most comfortable shirt overall I've worn in a long time, never mind it being a combat shirt. There's literally nothing about this I don't like, and the 85+ dollars was so worth it. Held up to abuse extremely well, the M81 Woodland pattern is spot on, and it's super breathable. Fits me perfectly. I'm an average sized but kind of skinny guy, and the medium regular was exactly what I was looking for. I was skeptical about buying initially because of how many cheap companies make combat shirt clones, but this is better than any other combat shirt I've worn to date.

Army UCP Combat Shirt
Well this shirt is AMAZING.I purchased this shirt for my JROTC ACU uniform and for future use of my ACU in the U.S. Army National Guard. I also was looking for something to wear under a plate carrier easily and have been looking at the tru spec combat shirt since I first saw it two years back. I just have to say is shirt is fantastic. The UCP pattern matches my ACU uniform perfectly. The uniform is compliant with the patrol cap, watch cap, and the Boonie hat. I plan on trying and maybe purchasing a Condor UCP ball cap (I have one in Multicam, I reccomend those as well). This shirt goes great tucked in and with a plate carrier, it isfar more comfortable than a blouse and holds up. The torso is made of cordura filming and is softer than a t shirt. The arms and neck are like wearing a normal ACU blouse, except they don't make any noise unlike the ACU blouse does when you move. For sizing of this shirt if you wears medium I suggest buying a small, i wear. Small long ACU blouse, and small regular BDU's and medium t shirts and the small tru spec combat shirt fit me perfectly, there is still growing room and room to tuck in. I highly reccomend this shirt and will be purchasing more in the future and hope to use it in future service.Pros:UCP matchesLittle to no noiseSoft, yet durableA lot more comfortableAR-670-1 compliantMeant for combatQuarter zip is sturdyGreat stitchingCollar can be worn up or downWaterproof arms and partial flame resistanceMore aesthetic than a blouseCons: if you plan on crawling on the side of a mountain range of razor blades, briars, and lions teeth, on your stomach in this shirt, it's not for you Mr. "I like to rip things"

As advertised, very comfortable
This wasn't a high dollar shirt like 5.11 or Kuhl, therefore the fabric will not hold up for as long. For example, I'm still wearing my 5-year old 5.11 half-zip, and it's still in great shape. However... It has exceeded my expectations for comfort and good fit. I am an XL, I ordered the XL, and it was a perfect fit. Of note, I washed it 4 times to get the new stiffness out.Pros: true to fit, true advertising, very comfortable, has been very functional outerwear for my long motorcycle camping trips, fairly inexpensiveCons: Cheaper version will not hold up as long, velcro patch on bicep area is pretty stiff (I'll remove, not planning on wearing patches)

Comfortable base layer for summertime body armor wear
So, recent urban socio-political developments have me feeling a lot less paranoid about previous body armor purchases. But in the unlikely (though distinctly possible) event that I've got to don body armor, it occurred to me I could do better than just a t-shirt underneath. The Tru-Spec 1/4 zip Combat shirt fills the bill. The torso is Cordura (polyester/cotton sleeves), which has some stretch. I'm 5' 9" with a 39" chest and 33" waist, 165 lb., so the sizing chart tells me to order Medium. That was loose in the chest and long in the sleeves though, and the Small fits without wrinkles in the torso (though by no means tight) with the sleeves the proper length. I've kept a Medium in khaki, as it's still wearable, but the Small fits the way it should (no wrinkles in the torso, which would probably get annoying under body armor). Long story short: these seem to run a little big. Sleeves have shoulder pockets with generous loop Velcro for patches. There's a pen pocket, but only on the left forearm, so lefties like me will have to keep doin' what we do and adapt to a rightie world. I'm not military any more, but I've got enough morale patches to make this feature welcome. Sleeves fit loosely as they should, and have Velcro cuffs to keep your hands from getting lost. Elbows have a reinforcing layer of fabric, which forms a Velcro secured pocket for an elbow pad. Sleeve fabric is a little stiff out of the package, but should soften up with wear and laundering. Definitely a welcome improvement over a simple t-shirt in terms of protection from "milkshakes" or whatever else rioters might be throwing around these days. I gave it 3 stars for warmth because this is a summer shirt (Tru-Spec makes a winter version in fleece that is suited to that season). I'd still recommend a mesh ventilation undervest like 221B Tactical makes, to maximize cooling and minimize body armor stink from sweat.

Great shirt
The shirt looks really good. The chest and back are very breathable. The sleeve thickness is great and takes abuse well with no tears or major wear spots.

Good shirt
I got Multicam Black in large regular. The fit is good. I'm 6'0 215lbs and it fits as expected. This is an acceptable combat shirt. I wouldn't put it in the same category as Crye, but it's price point is acceptable for what you get. It does not fit Crye Airflex Impact pads, the pockets are not long enough. If you find some that are about an inch and a half shorter though they would work.Zipper on the chest is ok, I am pretty gentle with zippers because even those on good quality shirts will fail if abused.Velcro is acceptable.Overall, good quality for the price. My recommendation for others is to spend the extra 60 on a Crye shirt though. I have both, figured I'd get a cheaper shirt for muddier and hotter environments, and this is ok. Total transparency though I will spend the extra money and get an extra Crye shirt in the future.

Great quality combat shirt, very soft on the skin and fits as described. I wish they made these in DCU.

Nice fit
I'd recommend putting on another layer underneath if you're doing any outdoors work; the material is lightweight as they say. All other product descriptions are accurate. Great buy all in all.

Great shirt for Daytime use, But NOT at Night
I bought this Marpat clone, as I needed it in the shortest period of time. The pattern is sufficient, not perfect, and the material is thin enough to keep me cool in hot environments, but also dries relatively fast.Where this short fails is in the dark! It is not NIR, meaning it glows bright white under night vision and will give you and your groups position away if your opponent is running with quality nods (Night Vision).I will use this in hot AO's for day use, but will use my cotton sleeved MARPAT shirt in the dark.4/5 rating, only because it was the brightest thing I have seen under nods.

Great value and performance
All good specs of a good warm weather combat shirt. I was pleasantly surprised to find it had elbow pad pockets that fit my UF Pro pads too.
