I needed to brush up on several items in math to pass my fundamentals of engineering exam. This is just what I needed lots of practice problems. I bought several of his books and so far I am well pleased. I think when I get through these books. I will actually be able to pass the math section for engineering. 🏆 I tried another online program, but I got buried in so much information and other things. These are really easy and simple and I can pack around one book at a time. Also, I don’t have to print anything. Everything‘s here in the book versus some of the online stuff. You need to download a bunch of files and print them all off. Then put them in a binder. That program may work for other people, but I just got too much on my plate. This book is perfect for me. Plenty of test problems. In fact so many that one will become fluent in solving equations.Hard and slow starting (just like school) But stick with it, this book is a winner.

Has a good level of difficulty providing a child some significant level of challenge, which once achieved, helps him stimulate the confidence in mathematics. My child who is still in primary school, has now started showing signs of confidence in maths and is able to solve some simple simultaneous equations using the substitution/elimination approach which this book teaches really well. I am so happy I got him this book and I believe his secondary maths studies will be fun.
