If you are buying for studio work
I've just got this mic stand and my initial impressions are that it's a good sturdy mic stand that is easy to move into the required position making it ideal for studio situations. There are a couple of issues you should be aware of before purchase.1. The picture signifies a counter weight but it seems to be plastic so not much weight there.2. The upstand is not very strong as it rocks the entire stand when you adjust it.In conclusion, as it's for my home studio I think its fine and will be capable of holding the condenser and stereo mic's in position and I really liked how it was quite easy to adjust without moving too far because when you are doing your own mic set ups it is difficult to hold an instrument in position and adjust the stand.

It is what it says it is and is OK
What can you expect for £20? It isn't studio quality, but its fine for home use and maybe the odd pub gig. I have no idea how resilient it is, the counter weight is plastic and not a counter weight and the feed are housed in floppy plastic mounts which are OK but not solid as a rock. Clutches work OK and the thing packs up small into its purpose made case (very good). No mic mount was supplied so make sure you buy one if you don't have one already. Cable tidies are a nice touch, The cross mount is plastic and looks robust enough but isn't premium quality. Basically its all a bit cheap components but it does the job. One star off for being a bit wobbly when pushed, but for £20 its fine. I bought this to take to small pub gigs where long boom stands are a pain, and for that it will do the job. For how long I don't know.

Decent stand. Looks nice and is sturdy enough. Wrong adapter though
This is a nice looking stand. I use it for an overhead webcam to show a bird’s eye view of a keyboard. It is sturdy enough and doesn’t wobble. One slight issue though is that the included adapter to 5/8 in was slightly smaller than advertised (metric as opposed to inches perhaps?), so it didn’t fit the camera adapter, which I’d bought for the webcam and I had to get a replacement standard adapter.

Great quality mic stand
I've bought mic stands in the past and I just wanted to get the cheapest that did the job. I will use a stand in a variety of settings but they tend not to last very long.I wanted to buy a stand that was durable and hard-wearing and that is now what I have. It's a decent price and sturdy, everything you need from a mic stand.I'm nearly 6ft and I wanted a stand I could adjust to go overhead, as well as infront or behind for ease of use and this is exactly what I now have.I wish I had found this stand years ago but why would you keep looking if you have found what you need.Great stand!!!

Great sturdy microphone stand
After seeing all the reviews of other microphone stands being flimsy and couldn't handle weight I bought this one after doing research. I wasn't disappointed! The stand is heavier than others which is important to stop it toppling over with heavier microphones (I have a Rode NT USB). It also is all metal, rather than plastic, and everything locks firmly so the microphone doesn't droop.Very much recommend this.

Versatile & Sturdy Boom Microphone Stand
A sturdy and versatile boom microphone stand, featuring 3 adjustable height positions.Out can be used in the usual way for recording vocals and guitar, or on the lower position for mixing up amp cabinets, etc.I use it with a Røde NT1a microphone, cradle and pop shield, which results in a significant amount of weight being added. You just have to be careful as to how you set it up against the three legs in order to avoid topple.I am really pleased with the product, which also comes with an excellent carrying bag.The photo shows the stand to be used in a seated position. It can be raised further by releasing the upper hand grip or lowered to the level of the lowest hand grip. The boom arm can also be extended to twice the photographed length. The most versatile mic stand I've used.

Well made and sturdy
I use it with a Rode NT-USB microphone on the boom arm and it is absolutely stable. It's not particularly heavy to manage, and comes with a useful carry case. Not the cheapest but extremely functional and good value for money overall

Great quality product - highly recommended
I really liked this product. I wasn't over-hopeful to be honest, but was very pleasantly surprised by the qaulity and construction of this item. Easily the best mic stand on Amazon.
