Does its job for what it is
I bought this camera for three reasons: 1) Have another means than filming with my cellphone; 2) because of the external microphone input, and 3) because of the package (microphone, and [Japanese made!] wide angle and macro lens kit). Added bonus is the infrared night vision feature, although I don't film so much at night. Knowing that there are other cameras at the same price without any accessories package or Night Vision feature out there, and that the description states clearly that this is an amateur grade camera, I didn't set my expectations too high.First impressions: The camera came in a sturdy box, every accessory was neatly packed up. The batteries were fully charged, the camera worked right out of the box and was ready to go.I was gratefully surprised that the light sensitivity is better than my cellphone which does "grainy" shots in low light. TIP: Navigate through the camera's menu, get familiar with the different functions, and be aware that there are different exposure, fps, and definition settings! The macro lens makes really great close-up shots. Since I use a tripod I didn't check on the image stabilizing feature yet. The camera has no built-in film editing function, not even the basic "clipping"; any film editing has to be done on a computer with a special software.Sound-vise, even though I didn't expect anything spectacular, this camera was quite disappointing for what I do. I am classical musician and mainly film myself performing at the piano. Therefore my 4 stars. The external microphone (electret condenser type) is clearly designed for voice pickup, and not very suitable for live music performance pickup. It it just too "noisy". Another thing I don't like about the mic is that it has a sealed-in rechargeable battery. The day this battery dies (and all of them do eventually!) the whole mic will be worthless... the camera batteries at least can be replaced.LINE-IN RECORDING (from an electronic keyboard or similar external sound device i.e,) does NOT work; the recorded sound gets distorted. There seem to be special cables with in-line adapter for dealing with this; I have to do some research. Also I still have to try out different external mics, or couple it with my Zoom audio recorder and see if I can get a more satisfactory sound recording quality out of that. The built-in microphone of the camera does a much better job picking up music sound, and fortunately the camera doesn't seem to have a "sound enhancer" or "volume leveler", so at least all the dynamic nuances get recorded. But the overall sound quality from the built-in mic is not better than my cellphone's - maybe even less.Since the tiny speaker doesn't sound very well, and there is no headphone / line out jack, playback with 100% quality sound only is possible through a TV or a computer with a sound system. All in all: For being an inexpensive, amateur grade, general purpose camera it is doing its job. For interviews, filming at parties or excursions, and non music related vlogging it will be fine. I have decided to keep it as an auxiliary camera... but I will have to try for something better sound-vise.

Probably only for entry-level filming, or as the company stated, vlogging
I purchased this camera for the Macro lens and 4k resolution feature so that I could do close up time-lapse footage of artwork I like to make. I chose this camera for the features it had and of course, the price. It ended up not connecting to my computer or laptop to pull any data off of the SD card. I could have gotten a replacement, but ended up returning it for a refund due to the poor adjustment for focus/zoomPROS- The price, and at mid-range and further the image quality is pretty good-The camera came with a lot of accessories like a quality microphone that could be detached and used on it's own, an extra battery and a big SD card- Overall the menu was pretty easy to use, and the remote that came with the camera is handyCONS- Optical zoom is of course much better than digital zoom, but I really thought the digital zoom on this camera was lacking. It was extremely difficult to get anything within 2ft into focus with any of the lenses that came with the camera (macro, wide-angle). I would say that my prepaid, or any cheap smartphone, has a more easily adjustable and clearer camera or video.-The button for zooming in/out is a spring-loaded switch that has no fine adjustment to it. I didn't expect auto focus for $250, but I hoped for a some better adjustment. This is a big con for me- The image being captured doesn't really translate well onto the flip-out LCD screen, because the resolution on it is much much lowerI could see how this might be a good choice for vlogging/filming on a budget, but if you're looking for something a little more I would definitely consider a name brand and doing research.

Works Great!
We bought this for doing Live services on Facebook. It works quite well, I do use OSB with this and I have not been disappointed. The only thing that I can say is that without using OSB, I cannot record as one video on the SD card, it breaks it into two videos - I have to use a special program to put it together. The mic works great - just make sure you keep a fresh battery on hand as it does not tell you when the battery is low. I seen where people say this battery is sealed - mine is not. On the end is a screw on cap and it uses a button battery, mine last for about six months. Also the microphone has some adjustments on top and you got to play with them to get the sound quality you want. It works great for our needs!

Pequeña y práctica, muy buena.
Muy buena en general, excelente resolución 4K, muy buena para transmisión extreaming, no buena fotografía, no para grabar en movimiento la cámara. En general muy recomendable, sin llegar a excelente.
