Game Changer!
Referencing the ILIFE V80 Max Mopping Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo. This vacuum was fairly easy to set up on the app (I’m a grandma, so it wasn’t a snap, but I eventually got it done and connected to Alexa)Once the vacuum was charged, I told Alexa to start Beastie (Yes, from the movie Malificent)Beastie started off on a journey throughout the house, then returned to the home base to charge. I’m embarrassed to say the dust bin was completely full. I repeated this process, after charging was complete, three times. Eventually, there was no more dog hair in the dust bin. All the floors were clean. EVEN UNDER THE BEDS!I live alone with my dog, so my house is very quiet. It did seem a little noisy but definitely not as noisy as a normal vacuum sweeper.I also used the mopping feature. It was much like my steamer without the steam. I sprayed the floor with fresh smelling cleaner (Mr. Clean) and then placed Beastie down to do a spot clean in the kitchen. It did a great job. There is zero noise when it’s mopping.. that was nice.My dog sheds A LOT. I had to dust mop the main kitchen/living room area and all rooms on the weekends. With this vacuum, I toss the dog toys onto a throw rug that is super plush and set it aside. The vacuum went over all the rest of the throw rugs in the bathrooms and office with no issues at all. It took about an hour for this vacuum to clean my whole house… a task that takes me several hours with the dust mop.I run this vacuum every morning. I get almost giddy when I walk through the house now and see and feel how clean my floors are!My only worry is what to do with my spare time now that I don’t have to dust mop… this was definitely a game changer!

good first robot cleaner
The media could not be loaded. In short, for the price, this is a decent robot vacuum and mop combo for my small studio with hardwood floors (no kids/pets/shoes and I keep a pretty clean apartment). Will probably need to upgrade to a better one if I move to a bigger place. Details below.I use it on S-shaped cleaning mode using the android app which talks to the robot via my house wifi. I have not tried voice controls. I did try the other cleaning modes but they are not as good. I did not try the random clean mode.Pros:1. S-shaped cleaning works well on both vacuum and mop mode2. Good at finding charger or shutting himself off is he's boxed off in a no-charger zone (see cons for why I'd do that to him!)3. Good at not falling off4. Can jump over small mouldings in the floor.5. S-shaped mode also displays the cleaning map.6. Also has a remote control mode, a spot mode, and an edge mode - these modes have not been super useful for me and also don't show a map.7. Suction and water levels are changeable8. App allows scheduled cleaning, as well as controlling the robot while I'm at work (to an extent - see cons.)Cons:1. The vacuum and mop tank are interchangeable - you can only have one at a time. So you first vacuum, then remove the dust/suction tank and insert the water tank to start mopping. This is a manual step that I didn't intend on doing especially since I prefer to start the cleaning after I have left for work, but it's okay. Both tanks are big enough for my needs. I liked the little microfiber mops that came with the mop - super easy to wash them after use.2. The robot gets tangled in the cables of his own charger while trying to attach to the charge, even though I have secured the cables pretty taut and have the charger against a heavy wall. The robot knocks the charger, turns it around and then tries to come in through other, inaccessible angles. My next step will be to tape the charger and the cable, which I think should work.3. The cleaning can be "paused". Pause in this case is more like "stop" because he does not remember the old map to truly "resume" when you hit play again.4. Will sometimes get stuck on the 0.5 inch steps in the apartment (old building), will sometimes successfully climb and descend them. Both of these are okay. But then about 30% of the time he will not know he's on a step and will stay trying to maneuver there - not moving on and not being officially "stuck".Rugs - The robot can climb on top of my bathroom rug, which is a soft microfiber rug. He cannot do this on my kitchen mat, which is a memory foam mat - the robot just drags the mat around - so much so that the sticky bottom of the mat has become unsticky. The mop mode does not avoid rugs (this is a hassle because I have to be home to lift off the rugs before sending him to mop.)5. He gets lost in my tiny studio - while I love his mapping ability, he does have a tendency to be stuck in infinite loops and thing I live in a much bigger space than I actually do. He will run out of battery doing this and will not complete the 300 sqft space I have, even on 1% suction. For this reason, I have to create fake walls with objects and restrict him to simple, rectangular area and then move him to the next rectangular area. This again requires my frequent intervention which I am not so happy about.6. I wish one could use the edge mode to show him the boundary, and then he'd save the map to use it for S-shaped. Right now there is no map for edge, spot, or remote modes. If he is stuck or runs out of battery, the S-shaped cleaning mode pauses itself (good), but the old map of where he already cleaned is not used (bad). It would be nice if he could pick off from where he left.7. For whatever reason, every once in a while he forgets his old suction and water usage settings. Weird but whatever.8. It would be nice if the map stays on when you pause him during an S-shaped cleaning. When he gets stuck and I'm not home, if the remote-control mode would continue to show me his postition, I could manually get him unstuck. And then you could resume the S-shaped cleaning.

1 star for customer service AND the vacuum
The vacuum itself works great but the customer service (everyone has been kind) has left me extremely frustrated. I purchased the vacuum with the mopping capability. I received the model that does not have mopping capability. I reached out to iLife and was told I needed to reach out to the seller (I had no idea I was buying the product from a random third part seller). I couldn’t find the contact info for the seller so I reached out to Amazon. Amazon stated they are just a shipper for the seller and the only thing they could do was refund me. I stated I didn’t want to be refunded, I wanted the item I ordered. Was told they don’t keep the inventory for the seller, I would have to reach out to the seller. Finally was able to reach out to the seller and was told Amazon has their inventory and I would have to reach out to them. No one seems to want to take responsibility and provide the item that I ordered (which they are now selling for $100 more than what I paid).UPDATE: I’ve been using the vacuum for about a month since Amazon, iLife, and Beach Camera refused to fix their mistake. The vacuum is not worth $50. I have hardwood floors and it gets stuck often, the brushes get wrapped around themselves, the bumper will randomly get stuck, it takes upwards of 30 minutes for it to find its home and I eventually will just pick it up and return it to its home. IT DOES NOT WORK ON CARPET. No matter what type of carpet it is, it does not work. It picks up a few hairs if they are sitting right on top but if it’s any deeper into the carpet, it will not pick it upI highly recommend not purchasing an iLife vacuum. Do some more research and save yourself the headache.

Excellent investment
I was very skeptical buying a robot vacuum thinking there's no way its going to clean the floors good enough to make it worth the money. well I was wrong. This vacuum does every square inch of floor and picks up dirt and dust with ease. The mopping feature works really good as well. I highly recommend this vacuum especially for the features and the cost.

Just DON’T buy it. Nothing but problems
I have had nothing but problems with this vacuum since I got it.I bought one and the wifi programming simply didn’t work, it was within the return period so I returned it and got another one.Since I’ve had the new one, the wifi programming still doesn’t work half of the time.I’ve had to contact support on 4 separate occasions because the mop bin just leaks and pours out water in minutes. I was told the 4th time that I cannot put soap of any kind in it. Just pure water. Which is dumb who mops their floor with just water? Now 3 months away from the warranty being finished , and my 6th issue with the thing, it no longer vacuums at all. It just drives around aimlessly not sucking anything up at all. I contacted support who “used” to respond very quickly and they have not replied to me at all. Convenient as I’m sure they want to just wait to the warranty is finished just to make me pay for it. This thing is now useless to me.Update, the vacuum doesn’t even charge now, at 13 months of ownership. Don’t waste your money

Does a good job
I love this robot vacuum. It does a great job picking up dust, hair and small dirt on our vinyl plank flooring. It doesn't like our door mats and gets stopped on them though and I have to move it off. It seems to go over the same areas multiple times, but does eventually get everything done.

Extremely stupid but does the job
Sucks well on hardwood floor. But sucks on carpets. As for the functions:if you have to pause it there's no option to resume, it'll start cleaning from scratch, meaning it'll start cleaning the zones that are already clean, it's battery will probably die, and you'll have to charge it. And then it'll start from the beginning again 😂🤦🏾As for the charging - it struggles to find the station if it's not close to it, even within the same room, you'll have to bring it, otherwise it'll just wandering around for ages.Remote control has a big latency, so not very handy. Control from the app, though, is ok.The software could be better. If it stucks the app will show an error but the robot will continue to suck and struggle. You'll have to pause it to remove the error. And read above what happens when you pause it😏I wish there was an option to just resume the current cleaning. Now, the water tank:It'll take you time to fill it because it fills through a high pipe with small radius.I won't be returning it but i wouldn't buy it again.

Fantastic!
We just got this yesterday and I already love it. I’ve had an actual Roomba, and I was always replacing parts. Especially the roller brushes.I’ve had an iLife V5 PRO for about 7 years, and it’s still going! But I’ve relocated it to the front hall.Of note, you always have to empty the dust bin each time. I’ve seen a few complaints about that on other robot vacuums. I’ve always had to do that. It’s quick and easy. This one has a pretty large dust bin. I like that it slides out.I didn’t buy it for the mopping function, but we tried it out today and it does a good job. I have a Brava Jet, so the bar was set high. 😊Apparently you’re supposed to use plain water only. We used bissell crosswave solution, and it worked well. It does put a fair amount of water down at first. Don’t worry, it mops it all up after. It’s been running for 90 minutes so far! First as the vacuum function, then as mopping.Love, love, that it has a separate module AND motor for the mopping function. So cool. The photo is of the mopping function. 😊
