Tactical Fly Box

Perfect for the flies I wanted to store.

Like this box for larger dry flies and a hold more nymphs than I’d use on a weekend trip

Box came and was in excellent shape but the foam insert was glued in backwards and makes holding the box to get flies out awkward.

This is my main nymph box now. It doesn't hold big, bulky flies, but will hold a ton of sz 10 and smaller jig style nymphs. I never leave this box at home. My only complaint is that it is not waterproof. This has not been an issue yet and if I believe my boxes are going to get wet, I just move this one to my backpack. All of my boxes are Fulling Mill and I love the way they sort of grab one another in my pack because of the ridges they made on the edges. I still prefer slit foam over the silicone stuff as I have found this to be gentler on hackles.
