Best bang for your buck!
Had a Boss riot 1100 in my crew cab gmc driving a single 12 shallow that I pulled from my old truck to get a little more thump. When I had the riot installed I was happy and thought it didn't sound bad, it went into protection mode a lot if I bumped it too hard. And one day I burned my hand on it so I stated searching for a 1 ohm amp asap. Well I installed this one and the paper said it passed with like 740-ish watts. Well I installed this with a good 4 guage wiring kit and all I can say is WOW! completely blows the riot away in every category! Which you would expect but dang, it just sounds so clean and crisp. I was thinking about buying 2 12s before but now it hits really good and I'm completely happy! It hits clean all the way through and tuning it was very easy with the given instructions. It also looks clean with the hidden wire boxed area. Very happy, even though it's more than what I wanted to pay since I'm about to head to college but it is well worth it knowing this one will not catch my truck on fire!

Great Amp
I waited a year to write a review. I like to check the dependability before writing. The Amp is great for my use. It tested at 806w @ 1ohm. I am powering one 12" P3D212 @ 1ohm in an SPL ported 2.2cu enclosure in the trunk of a Ford fusion. The combination rattles the car and pounds your chest. Sounds great for one 12.

WHO DOESN'T LOVE ROCKFORD FOSGATE??!!!
I had a 400S Rockford Fosgate amp that was something like 17 years old and it was still pounding away after all that time until it blew up by accident. It was a real heart breaker because I loved that amp! But It was an honest mistake...and I own it. I tried living without an amp for my subs for a week while I looked for used amps at pawn shops etc and not only did I not find anything that was worth buying, but living without sub-woofers you've come accustomed to is hella hard if you've ever known what that's like. In my desperation to have them working again I went to walmart and bought a pioneer amp on sale for like 75 bucks to see how that would run. Ya know...I figured...I'm cheap...and don't have all of the money in the world to spend so maybe technology has come a long way since then and you can get a lot more for a lot less cash these day. Well that may be true to some respect, but the end result was just lacking on that pioneer amp. The bass would hit, but not follow through. The personality of the amp wasn't ....interesting to listen to. Weird to say, but it's true. It was just.....boring. Like...dull? Like it would play...but...it wasn't interesting. It...wasn't musical. THEN....I purchased this Fosgate amp and hooked it up and I literally screamed out as loud as I could....YEEEEEEEEEEEAASS!!! HELL YEEEEESSS!!!... YEEES!!! THIS IS WHAT MUSIC SHOULD SOUND LIKE!!! Right then I remembered why I love Fosgate stuff! That sound!!!! The personality. The musicality of the amp. That's the thing that most people don't talk about. They talk in general terms about how it pounds...thumps...it's beefy..strong...clear and clean...doesn't overheat or get tired...all of that kind of stuff you could use for other brands as well. But they don't say....MUSICAL! That SOUND!! That PERSONALITY...STYLE!! THAT SOUND!! I totally get that it's almost an indescribable thing, but it's that Fosgate Sound. And you just have to experience it to know it and know it's worth the cost. It's just....GREAT!! It's the difference. I LOVE Fosgate stuff and have no regrets. Would buy again if I had to...but I don't think I will have to for a LONG time if I'm not an idiot and cross the wires again. Like I said ...the last one would still be pounding away if I hadn't accidentally let the wires cross while moving some stuff around.Next step is to upgrade to some P2 or P3 fosgate subs to go along with this set up..run it at 2 ohms and get the extra juice out of the amp. And eventually...I'd like to get a 4 channel Rockford Fosgate amp to hook up to my deck as I hear the sound stage of an amp that runs your door speakers is amazing compared to hooking them up straight to the deck. I guess it's not just a power thing, but it literally makes the sound stage...cleaner...bigger...more accurate and more interesting to listen to than just a standard deck. But that's more cash...so...we'll see how that goes. But if you're looking for an amp...I have no regrets with stepping up from the prime series...as I think this is the sweet spot for quality sound and price. If you have any doubts....don't. This is DEFINITELY the company!! Just find the right amp that meets your power needs and run with it.

I hooked it to P3 10 inch dvc subwoofer. ...
I hooked it to P3 10 inch dvc subwoofer. The amp is running 742 watts to the speaker on a 1 ohm resistance. Rockford Fosgate is quality, reliable, and affordable. I always have and always will rate them number one overall. It is an American based corporation. If a person wants to spend money on audio equipment it should be from a name brand that has a history of offering a selection of merchandise that will please any audiophile at a price well worth paying!
