Ordered the medium size as this was to go into the cage for my Pygmy hedgehog as she has a plastic bottom cage. And I compared the measurements and thought excellent it would be a good fit when the product arrived it was no bigger than a box of Kleenex tissues which isn’t big enough. But I can still use it in her carrier for her to keep her warm. But the medium is more like a small.

Bought this for seed propagation for use in early spring - worked a treat! I found a small propagator with domed lid at Lidl that the mat sits perfectly into the bottom of. Cut a small notch through propagator bottom to take the cord through. Now using the system to root clematis cuttings with bottom heat. I wrapped the mat in cling film to protect it from excessive condensation inside although the first time I used it I did not & mat got soaked but, still worked fine & is obviously waterproof. Takes too much power to use with a battery bank imo though but, would works fine in an off grid system used from solar panel & leisure battery in a shed.

I used these as warmer pads along with insulation for my lithium batteries in my motorhome as they have a low current drain that I could leave on at all times in cold weather.I didn’t expect much from them but they actually work ok and held my batteries a few degrees above ambient temperature when not in use, meaning my solar system could input a charge still during the day.Obviously in reality cold weather they might struggle.

Product is a ok but packaging wasn't great and no instructions

Love the material of this heat Matt but it doesn’t seem to feel very hot checked it’s temperature and after being on high all night the Matt was only at 29°the cable isn’t long enough either and I wish the overall size was bigger not the best value for money

If left uncovered the temperature is ok if the animal is lying directly on top of the mat. However if covered by a blanket or thick cloth, then it does get quite hot. I paired this with a 10,000 mah power pack and it will stay on the lowest setting for about 5 or 6 hours. I used it in my shed to heat a cat bed for a homeless moggy that was a regular visitor and it kept him toasty and warm.
