This product did fit my car as advertised; however it continuously tripped the gas evap error code and I had to replace it with a better cap.

Had a small leak EVAP code. Bought this to replace original cap (2011). From day one cap was hard to rotate with respect to cap retainer ring. Then led to large leak EVAP code. 2 days after installing a different manufacturer’s cap all codes resolved including permanent small leak code. Chased other potential causes and came back around the fault tree to the cap. These trouble shooting stories make you angry with designers and manufacturers. Only spent $16 so I’m over it.

Bought this to replace my original gas cap that was worn out. First noticed that the click was way sooner than the factory gas cap when tightening it. Ran it a few tanks of gas now and noticed that it will trigger the lights on my dash to come on when it reaches just below full and also about 1/4 tank. Going to replace with a different gas cap to double check and will update this review.

At higher RPMs my xB would throw a code and lose power, when I scanned the code it was either new Mass Airflow sensor or the gas cap. Starting with the cheaper solution I ordered this gas cap. This is the real deal OEM, install was cake and it solved my problems!!!!

I had the traction control light and check engine lights on plus the DTC code for oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 2. Web search says to tighten gas cap. didnt work. Replaced gas cap and traction control light disappeared. The check engine light did too after a week. I thougnt I was starting to have exhaust issues in front of car. Nope. The noise was the engine running a bit rough from oxygen mix being off. Problem gone now.
