This is an extremely reliable sump pump.
This Zoeller M98 is replacing a M98-C which ran for 12 years. The motor was still good but the switch was bad. I figured it was time for both to go. It is really a great pump.

Very well built sump pump
I can’t say enough good things about this sump pump it’s super quiet and has a sturdy build. It looks like it should never fail us.It’s only been about a month since I installed it.But I feel confident that it will last for years

Works Well
I had Wayne pumps for a while. The lasted about 5 years but the downside was they pumped almost continuously. That was costly for power usage. This pump seems much more heavy duty and pumps at a much lower rate. The float is positioned at a better level. Prior Wayne units did not permit pump positioning. This pump is also very quiet and manages heavy loads quite well. I always have a standby replacement just in case. Install was simple. I do not have any lifetime experience however.

Easy to install.
Good pump so far but have not had that much ground water to pump out...... yet. Installation was easy and I put it on a pump rack to keep it of the gravel. Ill follow up on this review after the rainy season and update my opinion.

Super Sucker
This unit was purchased to replace the exact same model that has been in place for close to 30 years. Though a bit heavy, the removal of the old and installation of the new was a snap. I saved about $600.00 dollars over what the plumber quoted and it works just fine. Apparently this person’s perfect pump!

Zoeller Sump Pumps
In my opinion Zoeller pumps are the best sump pumps made. The price and arrival of my order were both reasonably priced and fast delivery. This order will be my spare sump to have when it’s ever needed at my house or elsewhere for use. My last Zoeller pump lasted 23 years. But I annually clean the pump.
