I love these sticky notes. They do not smear with pen or pencil (with a flair pen, you'll want to wait a few seconds though). The clear ones are clear enough that you cannot tell they are on the page AT ALL unless you've written on them. They are the exact correct level of sticky that they adhere to book pages without being so sticky that they tear them. As a bonus, the pink ones perfectly conceal pink highlighter, so if you're a teacher they can be used for self-checking or "secret message" activities. There is literally NOTHING wrong with them.

I love post it notes but when I found these I can’t even use post it’s anymore! You can write with anything on these, but I noticed certain colored post it’s you can’t use certain gel pens or ball points will skip. Not an issue with these and I love that they are see through! I noticed the other reviews mentioned writing on them with gel pens are a dream and that’s true! My coworkers commented how much they like them. Bonus that they don’t tear and are sort of waterproof. Love the noticeable neon colors, wish they came in more colors though.

I love these post its. I can take notes and they don't get in the way of me reading. I used Sharpie pens but markers would also work. Regular pens don't show up well but other than that they are great.

as a college student who rents and sells back textbooks, this makes it so easy to note important parts without permanently marking the book. found that if it’s ripped off the wrong way it could rip the page and take off some in depending on the textbook. also found that i was limited on what kind of pens to write on the sticky notes with. overall, beneficial and great for anyone who doesn’t want to permently mark up something!

These are my new favorite sticky notes! No matter what pen I use, the ink does not smear. The amount of stickiness is perfect!

These transparent notes adhere well; they can be removed with ease and repositioned a few times. A plus to be able to see what’s behind the note!
