I cannot speak to how well it holds up against moisture or water, or elements, because I haven't experienced that over a duration of time. But I can say that it's fairly easy to insert a mattress into this bag. I did it with several mattresses (twin size and queen size) alone. The durable handles on the outside make it easy to move around the bagged mattress. The zipper functions well. So far it seems durable and is great for keeping mattresses dust free, dirt free (and hopefully dry and mold-free) during storage.

This makes moving a mattress so easy.

Needed to move a full size mattress and box springs out of an apartment and down a steep flight of stairs. Placed the mattress in one bag and the box springs in another and moved both without issue. These are very durable and the handles were a huge help. Now I have to store these items in my garage for a couple of months and these bags will keep them free of dirt and debris.
