Replacement Key Fob Cover fit for Mitsubishi 2007-2012 Eclipse 2007-2012 Galant 2007-2015 Lancer Keyless Entry Key Fob Shell

The lock 🔐 button is not accurate

It does not have a notch to remove it and doesn't come with instructions. I assembled it, but the buttons are stuck so I can't use the fob and now I can't even open it back up because there's no NOTCH. Just to be clear, the alarm was going off repeatedly because of the stuck buttons.Update: it's crumbling apart. Look at the attached photo. Had to tape the key fob up and it still just cracked apart. Now my key is in the ignition like this.

Yikes yikes yikes…. This thing is pretty crappy tbh… better off spending more for a better one because this cheap knock off seems to have cracked from putting the key into the ignition and turning the car on. Mind you I’ve been using the standard key fob that came with the car for 12 years and that one never had a problem (until it got ran over by a car)…

The price is great and at first the assembly was simple and easy to follow. Once the fob cover body was ready for the final step, the buttons would not press against the existing electronic fob piece therefore I could not lock/or unlock/ or use any of the buttons. After removing the electronic fob (which came with my vehicle), filing/sanding the inside of the buttons on the fob cover was necessary to allow the space needed for the buttons to function as normal. Easy adjustment but a note on the instructions mentioning that such adjustments may be necessary would have been a “good to know” bit of information. Otherwise the fob cover works fine.

i dont remember exactly how long ive had this now but its falling apart on me really bad, chunks broken out of it and a big crack going down it so now i need to be extra careful when using the key otherwise it snaps the case apart. my oem one wasnt in good condition but gluing it together worked better than this

The fob didn’t fit my 2015 Lancer’s insides. When I placed the original fob’s insides this fob it was to tight when snapped together, the buttons did not work properly.
