When I grew up, I feel like you could've sneezed on a barrette or clip too hard and like, some tiny piece of it would break. These things are sturdy. I also would like to mention that you can find shops on Etsy trying to sell these exact patterns in way smaller sets for way more money per clip-- so I would suggest getting them here instead. Many of the designs are three matching clips, one of each shape, and then there's a plethora of unmatched thin bar clips. They are large, so check the size before ordering. They also hold hair pretty well. Mine is on the thin side and can be slippery. I think there's enough patterns on here to go with a variety of clothes, too.

These clips are pretty and there's an incredible amount of them for the price but I did end up returning them simply because I didn't like the style of them. I was looking for a more traditional, flat kind of barrette and these are more like clips. And by "clips" I mean there's a large, chunky hinge on one end that you squeeze to open and then release to close. As I mentioned I was looking for a more traditional, flat barrette that snaps closed and lays flat against your hair. The name of this item mentions both clip and barrette so that's what confused me. These are not actually barrettes but clips so if you're looking for a traditional "barrette" type of hair item then these are probably not for you but if you want a "clip" instead then you'll probably love these.
