Have been using Nopal for over five years. Only thing that works to control my type two diabetes. My Doctor says that I am considered as having my diabetes under control without medications. First started with Insulin Shots, then Metformin, then no drugs. Nopal was actually dropping my levels too low. A warning you can find is that taken along with medications, you can drop too low, so best to watch how you react to it. It takes many Readings to find out how your body handles Nopal. As each one of us is different, there is no one simple rule to go by. All I can say is, that for myself, I know that it works for my Type 2 Diabetes, and have the medical proof of it.

I have been using this product for years to help my Diabetes. Nopal Cactus is a natural blood sugar lowering agent.I help reduce spikes after meals by taking one before each meal. I would score it a FIVE for what I use it for. I never used it for pain.

not sure about "pain relief" but nopal is terrific for helping with sugar control ... and antioxidant properties. my friends I had shared this with had seen incredible results - from lifetime upset stomach to cholesterol etc
