DETOUR OVERNIGHT OATS BAR APPLE CINNAMON 38G 9/CT

These are the perfect beginning to my day. I am vegetarian and gluten free and I work in a research lab that does not leave a lot of time for meals. So I start my day with these. They started at $12 for a box of 9 bars and are now $26. I feel like I am being taken advantage of and have tried to research who actually makes these bars. Part of me is concerned that they will be discontinued. I would love to know the future. I would buy them to keep them in business but as the cost is different for different flavors, I feel that they are just taking the most popular flavor and price gauging. The banana nut flavor has double the fat content and is not as tasty.

They didn't taste that great, in my opinion. Also, when I read the ingredient list on the box, I was disappointed that it contains sugar; albeit organic sugar. Will I buy this product again? The answer is no.

I’ll admit that I enjoyed the taste. But only after eating a number from the box I ordered did I realize these inexplicably contain gelatin. That non-vegetarian ingredient is hidden in a long list and was a VERY unpleasant surprise.

I really wanted to like these . I have been eating another brand's cinnamon & brown sugar bar and it really wasn't as healthy as I should eat . I ordered these though they were quite expensive. In my opinion they were a bit hard & fairly tasteless. I ended up dipping them in my hot coffee. I think they need to really up the amount of cinnamon in them. I will not be ordering them again.

I randomly happened upon this product in a quick-stop mart and since I'm a fan of banana gave it a shot...though with low expectations as these bars are frequently bland and, let's be honest, unpleasant. But I was looking for a quick hit of protein and something to get me on my way without an excess of sugar etc. I was pleasantly surprised. While not robust in flavor it had enough to keep me content while providing a soft but textured bite. I would have it again. Bought the pack on Amazon--absolutely not the same experience. First, I suggested my girlfriend try it and was surprised to hear her massive thumbs down appraisal. Then I tried one from the pack and ...it was GROSS. tasted like chalk....texture was firm, chalky and then crumbly in a bad way. Not the same soft, textured bite as previously experienced. In short, I had to spit it out, it was that bad. Never again will I order this product wholesale from Amazon. Will I try individual from the market? Quite possibly. Though I feel a refund is WELL DESERVED, I'll take the hit and throw the remaining bars away.
