Putting on the laptop was easy and it fits my MacBook Air 13" perfectly. The cover (top) has come off a few times but I used some of the "3M Scotch Blue 2090 Multi Surface Painters Tape 2" x 60 yards 051115-03683". This tape is easy to stick, easy to remove, and leaves no residue. I tore off some tape and rolled it back toward itself so it is sticky all around and applied it to each side of the laptop and to the top middle. The cover is now very secure. As the tape leaves no residue I feel confident the tape will not mar the laptop and, and if there were any marks, they would be hidden under the cover anyway.A couple of people have written about smudges. I have learned to touch the case only along the sides.. I would not know how to remove smudges and do not want to experiment and ruin the cover. Perhaps in time the company will recommend how to clean the cover.I am very happy with this purchase. To quote Keats: "A thing of beauty is a joy forever."-

High quality, fits perfectly, highly recommended, and it holds out pretty good, especially that I had to travel a lot with this laptop, still looks like new.

Perfect fit on my 2015 MacBook Air. I have always loved the crystal clear look, I've used them (crystal clear) on every Mac we have ever owned. These are well made, durable, and great looking. I replace them when they are so scratched up that I'm bothered by it.

Edit 10-1: Removed one star since one of the little rubber stands fell off a few weeks after I installed it.I had been debating back and forth on whether to get a case for my MacBook (clear or pink) and held off for several months until I started seeing my rose gold finish on my 2018 air start to scratch off. I am not rough with my electronics and it usually travels in and out of a brief purse with a heavy zipper. I believe the teeth of it started scratching the sides of my laptop and I became worried so I looked into this. It’s nice and soft matte in comparison to some of the other cases I found shopping around here. It does not display your logo unless you somehow have a backlit one, but I just added my own apple sticker to it and it works like a charm. Most of all it’s keeping the sides protected like I initially wanted. My only recommendation is to make sure you’re carefully removing the top lip over the lid otherwise it could potentially scratch that. But I don’t see myself removing it anytime soon other than to occasionally clean the device. Great product and was shipped quickly!

This is the second case I have purchased. After 5 years, the original cases bottom had a slight crack and was going to come off (crack due to human error). Both times I purchased the rose gold color (there are many colors to choose from). The rose gold is a very soft color (not cheap looking). I only gave one star for softness, because it is a HARD case (that's what I wanted). It's easy to get on, looks great, does it's job (I did drop my MacBook Air once on tile and it survived) at a great price. The Apple logo faintly glows through the case (if you must show your product loyalty). Obviously if I reordered the same product, I liked it. They send a sheet with instructions and a nice cloth to clean your computer and screen.

This snapped right on and fit the bill to protect my daughters Mac book air.

It's a moot point for me to write this review, as I called Amazon and got a refund without having to return this product. Firstly, the actual cover I purchased looked NOTHING like the picture. As shown in the pictures, it comes with a cloth and I found out very quickly why. Because of this particular plastic, the oils and other dirt on your fingers gets on the case immediately. After a few hours of use, it looked like a very dirty and dingy case. While that would be ideal to say the product worked, it's almost impossible to get it off without using the cleaning cloth. Sorry, that is NOT something I want to spend my time doing on a daily basis. My advice? Stay away from this product and others of its kind. I'll use the cloth to clean my glasses or maybe even my guitar, though. Thanks!

It looks good on but i found it not to be the best! It didn’t stay on and that became nerve wrecking! I eventually took it off and threw it away

It took a long time to find a cover with the same color of my laptop and I got it the bottom piece went on easily the top was not so much it took a bit of effort to clip it in it said it was compatible but maybe if the top part need to be measured properly so that it won't take as much effort trying to get the corners to fit idk how I feel about the foot bottom I thought it was paper I peeled it off on one end it looks like tape it was so easy to rip off
