Not what I'd expect from TNF
These were awkward for me. Firstly I got the grey and black. Sometimes when they say grey and black for flip flops they mean white and black (like REEF). There's were a weird light but very dull grey that didn't really match the pictures. I couldn't decide if I liked that or not because I couldn't get past the fit and feel. I usually wear a 9 in flops and ordered a 9 here. My feet slid in ok but there are a couple things that threw me off that ultimately made me return them. First the strap/thong part was super soft and comfortable BUT it was too stretchy so there was a lot of play when I walked. Secondly was the compound used for the sole - it's very soft and slippery. I would question it's long term durability especially given the awkwardness of the fit. Obviously there are lots of good reviews here and this was just my opinion. These are probably good for recovery bc they are so soft but I wear flops year round so not a good match for me. I went back to the much firmer and more durable REEF compound (Fanning and Phantom).
