Lifetime Height Adjustable Portable Basketball System, 44 Inch Backboard

Our first basketball hoop arrived in a broken box. It appeared that the box had broken while in transit and Loomis had taped up the box, however, many of the parts for the basketball hoop were missing. I emailed Royal-Dan Inc. and they contacted me immediately with a solution for return. I had never purchased anything from this company so I did not know much about them. I have learned that they are a very reliable company and they provide excellent customer service. I was attempting to send the return in the old box however it was not salvageable. Royal-Dan Inc. suggested I wait for the new basketball hoop to arrive and then return the old one in that box. Well, when the new hoop arrived that box was also broken and taped and missing pieces of the box, however, all the parts were there to erect the hoop. Royal-Dan was very understanding and helpful. I sent the parts back in a couple of sturdy garbage bags with the return labels provided. Our grandsons are enjoying the basketball hoop so much. It is sturdy and it has a proper sized back board. If you are purchasing for your children or grandchildren you will want a hoop like this one as the back board is a proper size. Many of the ones made for younger children have a smaller backboard which is not good. Great quality item.

My grandkids started playing almost right away and have been enjoying it very much.

Fast shipping. I purchased this for my son’s 11th Birthday and assembled it before his friends showed up for his birthday party. I wouldn’t really call myself a handyman but was able to follow the instructions easily enough. I let my son help assemble it with me which was a good learning experience. He loves it. It’s a great addition to our driveway and provides a lot of fun father son time after school and it’s a good escape from the Xbox with his friends on the weekends. It’s nice and sturdy and has already withstood some strong gusty winds. We filled ours (the base) with water.

Need to read thru and follow instructions thoroughly. I have issues to get the top tube to come out of the middle tube, so I used the bottom tube to push the top tube out. This was a big mistake since the bottom tube is to be slam fit into the middle tube later. I had to spend an hour and multiple tools to get the tube to separate. I finally got the pole assemble correctly and will cover the scrapes with pain and tape to hide the bare metal. The assembly went easy after that pole mess being fixed.~* When looking to buy a product I always read several reviews first, so while reviewing I try to leave as much honest information as possible to aid others in the buying process.
