Buy cheap Pay Twice?...Nonsense
Pros..Easily assembled.Very sturdy.Well made.Quiet.Clear and useful display.Adjust to various sized Humans.Resistance gradient is strongFolds easily and securely .Inexpensive.Cons...Not lightweightNo tablet bracket or cup holderNo standing to train without display adjustment. For £89.99 what do I expect?!I assumed I'd see nuts and bolts here and there scattered in the box, metal parts jumbled around and of course missings parts waiting to be discovered. NO! Everything was in an orderly state neatly laid out. Important parts protected by thick polystyrene, others wrapped in easy to find bags. The instructions in English were clear to follow. Not as crystal as Ikea but close enough. No parts were missing and all nuts and bolts were present and correct. I even have a washer left over.Assembly took about 40 minutes but I was not trying for the World record. Word to the wise, left pedal goes counter clockwise!!! Took me a while to realise that. The frame is made of steel and very strong.Once completed, my significant other (5 foot and a dog end ) reached to pedels easily and yours truly 6 foot 2 with eyes of blue did not have any problem using it.One thing though to mention is you cannot stand and cycle due to the display panel bashing your knees. However if standing is what you need to do them there is no reason why you cannot remove one of the securing screws that hold the display in place so that it tilts forward thus allowing you to stand and destroy your calf muscles. This exercise bike may not be designed to be used standing so check with the seller before doing so.The LCD display gives various readings including distance travelled and heart rate. It has an auto off feature to save battery(included) life. The resistance is strong or weak depending on your preferences . The bike does not squeak or rattle. And the cycle mechanism sound itself is hardly noticeable. I'd compare the decibel level to that of a PC's fan . Seriously...you'll hear your heart beating loud before the machines sound. The saddle is soft but not too soft as is the seat-back. You can quite easily sit back and pedal away to your heart's content. For £89.99 I got exactly what I needed,a sturdy exercise bike that fulfils its obligations. Now I have to fulfil mine and lose some pounds. This machine has exceeded my expectations and I can see it being used for years to come.

Solid and steady.
I wasn't looking forward to putting this together so I did it a step at a time. My usual approach is to assemble things as quickly as possible and then I have to back track. However I followed the instructions IN DETAIL. I would definitely have had problems had I guessed. The only thing I missed was the instruction to fully assemble the pedals before putting them on. You MUST fit the pedal straps first as otherwise it's really difficult!I did find my all-purpose screwdriver with the hexagonalwas much easier to use than the supplied hexagonal Allen key.I also had a wonderful ratchet spanner which was so much easier than using the small supplied spanner.I haven't used the screen yet but I find the cycling very smooth and the seat is comfortable. I have used these bikes in gyms and this compares really well, which I didn't expect as the illustration looked as if it was rather small. However it's a perfect size and very safe and solid. My 6'4" husband uses it comfortably.A real bonus is the ease at which you can move it. I can fold it and wheel it to another room and out of site. I didn't even know that was a possibility until I saw this machine. It's early days but so far I highly recommend it. There's no obvious reason for spending more so I'm delighted I didn't spend more. Finally, the exercise is already making me feel better. I use it whenever I have a few minutes rather than doing an exhausting workout which just isn't always practical.

Good solid piece of equipment
Lovely item and quite pleasing on the eye, not as bulky as some. Fits nicely into its designated space and folds easy enough for storage. Easy-ish to assemble but some of the screws etc are a bit fiddly. Downside to this item is the seat isnt very comfortable on the inner thighs but apart from that it is well worth the money paid.
