Generic but it works
It gets the job done. It is nothing fancy, but it is convenient and nicer to watch TV and movies on a much bigger screen/wall. Not great if you are extremely dedicated to a phenomenal picture as the focus isn't consistent throughout the entire projection. You need some separate sound system because the volume on the projector is pretty useless. Getting some type of screen setup would also probably help the picture.I have been using it to project stuff onto the ceiling so I can lay flat in bed because I have neck and upper back problems. Watching tv on a couch or propping myself up in bed exacerbates the problem so the slightly fuzzy picture around an edge is worth the comfort. I have a wireless speaker that I use for audio too, which, like I said before, is almost necessary.

Good Value
I bought the projector about a year ago. Never used a digital projector before so I cannot compare; but I seem to recall the value was pretty good. I used it to project an image (via USB drive) onto the wall about 15' away to help create a wall mural. I traced the image using a pencil, turned the lights back on, and painted over the pencil marks. Worked great!

Only use in limited circumstances
This is the first time I have to say that I don't trust many of the Amazon reviews!!This projector is very inexpensive for a reason. It just feels cheap. The manual focus control knob feel like it will break at any moment. The WIFI connectivity is not reliable and motion is way behind what you see on the screen. I am not a gamer either. We are talking a second or more to respond when connected over WIFI. And then it just loses connectivity and it has to be powered off and back on again to regain connectivity. Documentation is very limited and poor.I purchased this unit for a non-profit ballroom dance organization because a 15 year old BoxLight projector failed and a new bulb cost $500!! It would have only been used in a dim dance hall. The old unit specifications was 1,000 lumens and that worked fine. This unit is supposed to be 1,200 lumens. It is not even in the same ballpark in brightness. The unit is being returned.

You get what you pay for
You do get what you pay for. An $85 projector displaying up to 480p is a decent deal but do keep in mind, quality control isn't priority. Received mine and the body feels incredibly cheap. The projected image was always slanted, no matter how level the surface. Additionally, it gets hot quick. This means longer viewing experiences probably aren't a good idea. The interface is decent, usable and straight forward. If you're looking for a portable projector, it's best to save your money and put it elsewhere.

Movie Party
OMG!!!!! Better than what I expected. Had my son's 9th bday party outside where the kids watched Batnman vs Superman using the projector. I used a white flat sheet and hung it over our fence and SUPRISe! It was perfect. No glitches or problems. I do suggest you learn to work the projector before Any event. Hooking up the speakers was a little tricky... We ended up using my Bluetooth speaker and again... Perfection. I honestly thought that the movie we selected was going to be too dark for the projector, but the lighting was just right. Best 80bucks I spent.

... received it I could not get it to interoperate easily with my iPhone
When I received it I could not get it to interoperate easily with my iPhone. I was working on getting it to when it started smelling like burnt electronics. I thought maybe it was just oil on the bulb that needed to burn off, so I left it running outside for a while. The burnt smell never stopped. so returned it.

Great product for the price
This is pretty much like the tronfy projector I bought about a month ago. I pulled it out of the box and played with it for awhile and it seems to work well even with some light coming into the room. I own and iPhone and was a bit disappointed that I had to leave my Wi-Fi network in order to pair with the device. However, my boyfriend uses an android and it was really designed to connect with that type of phone. This was my original intention in purchasing this projector. I'm still playing with it though and if I need to revise my review I will. I highly recommend this product for people that are on a budget, it is very easy to use and set up. I am very pleased with my other projector, And feel that I will be just as pleased with this one!

Finicky, but it works!
A little bit tricky to use- menu options don't like to respond until clicked several times and the remote control works sometimes. For the price I paid, it is well worth it
