The Door/Window sensor consists of two parts, one large and one small. Please place them inside the house. We recommend that you place the larger part on the door or windowframe and the smaller part on the door or window itself. The small part contains a magnet and can tolerate exposure to rain and other wet conditions. DIY Installation 1) Connect the Gateway to your home WiFi router via an Ethernet cable, 2) Remove the battery isolation tape on the Door/Window sensor, 3) Press "connect" button in the middle on the Gateway, 4) Attach the Door/Window sensor to your door or window, When your door and window are closed, the gap between the large and small part should be as small as possible and must never exceed 3cm. Otherwise the sensor may not reliably detect whether the door or window is open or closed. After installation, we recommend that you test it to ensure proper operation. 5) Download the APP. Android users can search for the keyword "iHomeware" in the Google Play Store. iOS users can search for "iHomeware" in the Apple App Store.
