Rubbermaid4209 EZ Step Folding Stool, 2-Step, Metallic Cylinder

This product is fantastic. I feel safe when I'm on the top step. It's balanced properly and very easy to open and close.

I already have a Rubbermaid one-step stool. I love the weight and sturdiness but it takes up space because it doesn't fold. I needed one for me to reach cabinets above the fridge. My other step stool, a 3-step ladder is made of metal - insanely heavy (for me) and not a kind I want to keep in the kitchen. I checked out two-step stools in the hardware stores but I still didn't like how heavy they were. Why didn't I think about Rubbermaid in the first place? This stool nailed all points I needed. I am marveling at how beautiful it is.

Purchased this to use when I wash my car and need to extra height to clean the roof of my SUV. Perfect height for me (5'9") to clean the roof and for the wife to stand on when she want to use it in the kitchen to reach the upper cupboards. The stool is very solid and easily folds up for storage. I would recommend this to a friend.

I had originally purchased 2 of these stools back in 2001 (when we purchased our house). These stools have been amazing!!! They are durable, lightweight, very stable, easy to fold and great for indoors or outdoors. My indoor stool ended up out in the back yard for use getting into/out of our trampoline. After 3 years of sitting outside it was finally starting to wear and crack so it was time to order another one (I actually ordered 2). The price may be a bit much but you will not be disappointed.
