Love it
Love the color and quality. Piece is heavy once assembled. Recommend building close to where your placing it. Packaging was good. Accessories came in zip lock bags and even included a Phillip screwdriver. I didn’t need any additional tools. The whole piece is screws and no nails. The boards even the back boards are a nice thickness. The instructions could def be more detailed. I bought this for myself. Love the teal and wood grains look. Took me about two hours but I think I could’ve done it quicker if I didn’t need to puzzle out the instructions. Highly recommend use the photo on amazon to use as a guide. I think a stock photo should’ve been included it always helps me to see a picture of the finish product when the instructions are lacking. So I read the reviews and figured I’d help out explaining parts that were vague. Step three is crucial and confusing. Use the back slats as a tip to know which side is the back. Use the door to figure out the correct bottom for where to place item 11. Once done all the other boards fall right into place. You’ll know it’s correct because everything lines up. Don’t be afraid to give a good wack to put the boards together. Just make sure the screws drop into the canisters first and isn’t misalign. There’s an arrow that points to opening to use as a guide. I do recommend doing the legs last and not the step in the instructions so you can maneuver the piece once you’re doing the final step. The doors were simply if you’ve built furniture kits before it can be figured out but again instructions are lacking. Don’t panicked If the backing boards (items numbered 8) has a small gap and slides the final step secures this. Also this part is not explained. 7 has no holes so no wrong way to slide in. 8 each has wholes. Make sure when sliding into place the holes line up with the shelf because you will be using screws to secure to the shelves. The shelf that the doors go too has two holes on the top to place the magnet. Ensure the metal part is facing forward for when screwing the plate to the shelf. Doors were simply screw the metal plates to the pre lined holes. FYI the side with the 2 addition holes are the interior remember should be facing up which is the top to allow the metal to attach the magnet. Use that as a guide for which door on which side and placement. Then use the larger screws to attach the handles you may want to hold off and do the handles after the legs so you can lay the shelf flat facing forward when completing what the instructions say is the final step. I found it easier to have it laying this way than it being upright. Ok the part for the backing in the instructions really suck on explaining. I realized it said 16 screws but the picture doesn’t reflect this at all. Freaking dumb in my opinion cause I feel this is crucial for the stability. The white tabs the slimmest part gets slid into the grooves of the backing to keep the boards in place and prevent sliding also to close the gap. These go into each corner because of the divider this makes it 8 instead of 4. There are no precuts but don’t worries the screws are going into the grooves at an angle and don’t end up going through and damaging the piece. Then screw 8 screws into the precut holes attaching to the shelf. It’s a bit arm strength since the shelves didn’t have a precut hole but recommend this step it does make the back more secure. I debated skipping this since i was afraid like with nailing a backing that the screws may go through to front but noticed how it wobbles a bit and decided to proceed. No worries with the screws going through the holes in the backing lined up with the shelves perfectly. My set did have two minor defects a bit of peeling on an edge but thankfully on shelves could be swapped since they were identical. I was able to hide by placing in the back and lower level and it’s not noticeable at all. Then I attached the legs and door handles last. I’m very happy with the product and outcome of my build. Hope that helps some people with the confusing part.

Very cute!
Although the hardware bags were not marked, this was pretty simple to assemble. I did it by myself and it took me 2 hours, but that's because I didn't study the picture first. So I had to remove a couple of things a couple of times and that chewed up an hour. All in all, it's cute, sturdy, and does what I need it to do.

READ ENTIRE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ASSEMBLY
YOU NEED TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FRONT TO BACK PRIOR TO ASSEMBLY. There's also something not noted, that shelves 10 and 11 need to be assembled in specific order, 10 above 11. That allows for the doors to fit. It took my husband three tries, and a little tweaking with a box cutter (a chunk needed to be taken out to allow the backing to slide in completely), to get the whole thing put together. Expert assemblers only. All that said, it's actually a very cute shelf, and I like it a lot. Probably wouldn't buy again because it was such a pain in the ass, but glad I have it.

It’s cute.
Two of the boards were “squished” out of the box - with no squishing or damage to the box or inner packing. The directions were unclear and it’s very wobbly. I would not trust this in a child’s room.

Just ok, multiple damaged boards, easy assembly
Cute unit, but a little flimsy. Very easy to assemble (my 3 year old helped) and no missing pieces. Several reviews mention difficult assembly but has very clear and straightforward instructions. It took no time at all and conveniently comes with a screwdriver. I like the multiple shelf sizes but bottom cabinet doors are misaligned. Multiple boards had smashed corners, cracks, or split finish, even though the shipping box and all packing materials were intact. I wish the backing would’ve been one solid piece instead of 2 (part 8). Crack is visible from front of unit. Disappointed with quality control but it’ll still serve its purpose

Great except its missing a nut for one of the feet
I love it but I am unable to put the feet on because one is missing the nut.

Good purchase
It's a nice shelf. Nothing was damaged. All the parts were included. Easy instructions. I do have a suggestion when placing shelf #4. It has slits on both sides. Make sure it levels out with the other shelves. If it looks longer than the other shelves then flip it to the other side.

Looks great in my sons room
Make sure to look over all of the directions first before starting and before putting in the locking pieces, make sure everything lines up. I jumped in without doing so, had to re assemble a few parts early on, but then when I looked at all the steps, it made more sense. I’m a single mom, so I have to do things for myself and my kids, that being said, I put this together myself. This came out super awesome, I love how it turned out and was just what I was looking for. Not too big and not too small
