Great product...
I'm really happy with the SkylinkHome 318 series. Of course with all the different options there could be hundreds of configurations but I figured I would share what I bought and how I configured it. I purchased the PA-318 (1500W Plug-In Receiver), two ID-318 (Wall Mounted Motion Sensors) and a TB-318 (Wireless Wall Mounted Transmitter). The goal of my configuration was to hook up all my yard lights with one motion sensor at the front door and one motion sensor by our garage. I had to plug in several items in to the PA-318 so used a power strip (worked fine). The motion sensors were configured to turn the lights on for five minutes and the TB-318 wall switch was configured to turn the lights on or off with no timer.Everything was configured as stated above and worked perfectly. If I walk in to the house and want to shut off the lights that are on for 5 minutes because of my motion I can just flip the switch, if I have guest coming over I can turn the lights on and they will stay on until I flip the switch again to shut it off.I am super happy with this setup, hope this helps someone looking to do something similar.Update 1: After reading a few post about battery life I purchased a 9v AC adapter/transformer and it worked perfect. If your close to power this might be an option.

Effective and reliable, but installation instructions are a bit confusing.
Bought with WE-001 wall switch/ receiver and TM-002 decorative switch cover.Installation was easy once I figured out the somewhat confusing directions. This motion sensor/ transmitter will mate with different company offered switch/ receivers so it is important to read the instructions carelessly.Be sure to note unique pairing procedure for ID-318 with WE-001. Decorative switch cover is recommended for use in public space like interior of you house.Motion sensor works at advertised distance but may need to be swiveled some to meet your needs. Only 4 out of five stars due to lack of clarity of the instructions. You can download the installation instructions from Skylink.

So far seems to work good.
So far it seems to work OK with the SkylinkHome MR-318 remote AC line switch. I just installed these two together to control my garage outdoor lights to be automatically activated my the ID-318 wireless infrared motion detector. My only concern is as to how often I will need to change the 9V battery. Don't know yet... time will tell.As a suggestion to SkylinkHome, I would like to see the motion timer to be adjustable down to as low as 1 minute. Currently, it can only go as low as 5 minutes per motion detect.

Accomplishes most of what I was aiming for
I have been wanting to add motion detection to two sets of flood lights on my driveway for long time. The lights are about 30 feet up, so simply changing to motion detecting fixtures was not really a good solution. The ID-318, coupled with the WE-001 receiver switch, has been a very good, though not perfect, solution. Install was pretty easy, but the WE-001 did require disabling a three-way switch. Otherwise, the ID-318 is easy to pair with the switch, and it comes with a convenient swivel mount. The range on the motion detector is pretty good. When I walk up the driveway, it usually triggers when I get within about 40 feet. The few gripes I have with it are as follows: 1. Even though the ID-318 is well within range of the WE-001 switch, sometimes the motion detector must trigger a few times before the lights turn on. I am not sure if this is a motion detector or switch issue. 2. The ID-318 will not trigger unless it is completely dark outside, even though I have the light sensitivity threshold set to bright. 3. I was hoping the ID-318 would turn on my flood lights when our vehicles pull into the driveway. Oddly, it will not detect my wife's van or my truck. However, it does trigger as soon as I walk past. 4. I am not sure how the ID-318 qualifies as weather-resistant. The battery compartment (which contains access to a circuit board) does not have a gasket or any kind of waterproofing whatsoever. I added a bead of silicon caulk around the seams in hopes that maybe it will help the unit last a little longer, but I am not optimistic. Despite these imperfections, I am pleased with how this setup has worked out so far.UPDATE: It stopped working after about 8 months. I changed the battery, but it still did not work. I brought it inside and forgot about it for a few weeks. I then tried it again, and it worked. Put it back outside, and it stopped working again after about a two weeks. I think my concerns about its weather resistance were valid. Pretty disappointing.
