Great band and great album
This is the Crowes in their pomp, for me the first 3 albums defined their sound and their image and even now their early output is as good as any band has released. If you have the original then do you need this, definitely if your a collector but if you just have the original album then you are in a good place. One of the all time great rock n roll bands.

Stunning Debut ,
The first album always sits in the memory as being outshone by the next 2But, re listening to it, it's such a great album, the second cd is great and not just a few B sides . The live Cd is really important to show what they were and what is due to comeKinda wish that the Led Zeppelin reissues were this good and as well thought out

First Flight
I’ll start with the bonus material first. Disc 2 consists of rare & unreleased material, including “Charming mess”, which is a honky tonk rockers, “30 days in the hole” is a good start/stop rocker, “Don’t Wake me” (which was originally an extra track on “Shake your..) is a fast past Aerosmith-style track, with some nice slide-guitar, “Jealous Guy” is a raucous cover of the Lennon classic & “Waiting guilty” is a slightly folksy rocker. With the horn section, “Hard to Handle” is closer to Otis Redding, which I think improves the song. Two nice acoustic version of “Jealous again” (again a bonus track on “Shake your..”) & “she talks to angles” which has the piano right up front in the mix. Finally there are two demos from Mr Crowes Garden (which was what the band were originally called, apparently inspired by a children’s book Chris Robinson liked), “She talks..” is pretty close to the album version & “Front Porch Sermon” has an enjoyable blue-grass influence to it.The Atlanta concert is absolutely incendiary, especially compared to their 2002 “Live” album, in which the group sound like they’re just going through the motions (the band did go on a five hiatus after that tour). Early on in the show Chris Robinson even has to calm the audience down!Featuring a couple of rarities, I don’t think there is a studio version “Your Wrong” that’s ever been released, “Word’s you throw away” was a b-side to “Hotel Illness” & “Shake ‘em down” was a extra track on the Japanese version of “Southern Harmony..”. Also there's a bit of The Beatles' "Get Back" which was nice. The album is digitally remastered, but doesn’t sound that much different to the ordinal recording, but the songs defiantly stood the test of time, especially compared to a lot of the hair-metal albums released at the same time.So for nearly £20 your getting a live album & a disc of odd’s n Sods, If you a massive Crowes fan then you’re going to buy it, I just don’t know if it’s worth the price.

Great value for 3 cds
Apart from the singles this album was unknown to me, but was blown away by the music . The bonus Studio tracks were of immense interest, as I love remixes and the live tracks were and absolute bonus. All in all an absolute bargain

Great album ,sleeve waste of time.
Fantastic album first time of release ,this just improves the release, would recommend this to anyone, the only gripe/complaint is the record company deciding to release this in a cardcover, without fail every single CD I bought in this format from other bands ,trying to get the discs out, they always without fail, rip. It would have been better in a case.

Great package
Great mix of a fabulous album

Great deluxe package of their debut effort
The remastering is quite good, and the bonus concert from that time-frame plus the demos and rarities makes it worth the purchase.

Box para colecionadores
Se você é fã da banda e curte itens colecionáveis esse box é imperdível, valeu cada centavo , ainda mais que comprei numa promoção. Vale muito a pena. Todos discos 180g. Músicas B-sides.

Love this album grew up to this and tragically hip.
This was a fast sale on my behalf. I love this album from start to finish. Only album I liked and certainly it is nice to introduce it to my collection
